Competitive wouldn't even begin to describe the relationship between you and Keanu. Actually, it did. Five movies was how many movies you two have shot together, and the press was always more and more impressed every time around. Now being your sixth movie, Keanu was still nothing but a co-star to you. Or that's what you told him. You always ended up playing either his daughter, niece or just the teenage girl he was trying to protect. In all the cases, it made your acting career sky rocket.
Keanu treated you as if you were his actual daughter. He was always good with kids, but you were just someone that could never get along with him. You wanted to beat him at everything, and you did. Which was what drove Keanu absolutely insane. Not only were you a girl, but you were a teenager! Every single sport, activity and game that you played with him, you would be the one to leave with the victory. It annoyed him. You were good at everything. Acting. Games. Other stuff.
He began to become jealous, but tried to maintain that friendly side of him. Tonight was the night that you were going to be watched over him, which was something you never wanted to happen. You were a teenager, a sixteen year could take of herself! Clearly, your parents thought the opposite. Ever since the last incident where you were left home alone, they returned to a firetruck outside the house and two men carrying you outside. Yes, you were hurt, but at the moment, your parents were more worried about the fact that your house was burned.
Luckily, with all the money you received from your movies, you were easily able to get the insurance for your house and got an even better one. You hated it whenever Keanu was over. All he would do was try to get close to you, and that was the last thing you wanted with him. You might have had good chemistry with him on screen, but off screen, you didn't want to get too attached. Last celebrity you thought loved you, ended up leaving you and never reacting whenever your name was brought up.
You never trusted again. You didn't want to get close to your co-stars. You felt like they all pretended to like you, and being the youngest, it was easy to let things get to you. You haven't fully learned, but Keanu wasn't afraid to help you through it. You just weren't ready to open up to him quite yet.
"Thanks so much Mr. Reeves," Your mother thanked, hugging your co-star tightly. "You're such a life saver, and hopefully [Y/N]'s. Please don't let her out of your sight."
