Morning Routine

The morning light shines in from the opening of the cave. With the birds beginning their morning call, Igneel's eyes slowly open. He comes to face a snoring Natsu sprawled out on his chest and to his left Glaciea sleeping by his side using his outstretched arm as a pillow. He gives the ice woman a kiss on the forehead and closes his eyes again just wanting to rest a bit before he actually has to get up. About a minute passes and Glaciea begins to stir blinking her eyes and yawning. Igneel takes this moment to move his arm from under her, wriggling his fingers to relieve the pins and needles. Stretching her arms above her head, Glaciea sits up, looks over to the Fire King, then removes the sleeping boy from his chest so he may finally sit up.
"Will you be long today?" Glaciea enquiries sleepily, holding the pink-haired boy close as the red-head gets dressed.
"I should be back by the afternoon. If not, I won't be gone all day."
The ice woman nods, giving off a yawn as Igneel sits down next to her. He can spare a couple minutes before needing to leave.
"You two gonna be good for breakfast?" Igneel asks, running a hand through the boy's pink hair. Glaciea nods again, fighting off a yawn as she readjusts Natsu in her arms. "There should be some rabbits around if not we can go to the stream for the day and grab some fish to eat." Igneel nods in response then stands up dusting his hands off.
"Be careful." Glaciea adds looking up at the red-head with worry set in her icy blue eyes. He looks back down at her giving her a reassuring smile and crouches down in front of her. Reaching his hand out, Igneel cups the side of her face, tilting it a bit as he moves in towards her ear. He leaves a kiss behind it before biting the same area leaving a temporary mark for protection from other dragons. He begins to move back, removing his hand as he does until Glaciea moves in giving him a small kiss, the mark glowing a bit from the action. Igneel stares at her shocked but smiles.
"I'll be fine." He reassures her then looks down at Natsu, softly ruffling his hair as the boy wakes before finally leaving. The two sit there as he walks out of the cave, watching him set ablaze as he transforms to his dragon form and fly off.
