Meet you again

Appearance means everything

Karin's POV: Brrrrrr! Its that time again. The time when children run out of their houses and fall face first into the snow, throw snowballs at each other, build snow forts and when snow falls from the sky. Its also the time when I go to a very special spot. A guard rail where I can see the sunset perfectly during the warmer weather. But this is winter. I come here to look for a specific person. ' Where is he? Its been seventeen months since I've seen him' I thought to myself. The person I'm waiting for never returns. At least not yet. I know he'll come back. He has to! Then I whisper " Where ever you are, I'll always wait for you... Toshiro." Just then I hear a voice. "Karin! Its time for dinner! Yuzu is making her curry today! Lets go!" That was Ichigo. He came back from the soul society a few weeks ago. After getting his soul reaper powers back, he has been all over the place. But its nice to have him back. "Coming!"

Ichigo's POV: After calling out to Karin she runs over. " Lets go Ichigo" she says as she walks in front of me. She comes to this area a lot. Especially during the winter. I don't know why but I think that this has something to do with Toshiro being gone for so long, "Hey Ichigo. Someone's coming. I think she's-" Karin gets cut off by the presence of... "O-Orihime?! Where did you come from?" She runs up to me to give me a quick hug. " Hey Ichigo! Nice to have you back. Wanna have dinner with me today?" She was as cheerful as always. "Sorry Orihime, but my sister is making her curry today." Just then, her smile turned into a frown. But then she had and idea. "How about I bring some of my cooking to your house and we can all eat together! "W-weeellll-" Karin cuts me off. "Of course Orihime! The more the merrier!" Orihime then runs off happily as I give Karin a look. "What?" She says to me. " You want to get closer to her right? Letting you say no would make you sulk the entire evening." I hated what she said because I knew it was true.

Yuzu's POV: "Dinner!" I shouted through the hallway. Dad came to kitchen as soon as I said it. "Ohhh! I love your curry Yuzu! Just like how your mom used to make it, only with more carrots." Dad was always so joyful during dinner time. Just then the doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" I ran towards the door. I knew Ichigo and Karin were there. " Karin! Ichigo! You're baack!" I gave them a BIG hug. " I've already made dinner. You guys ready to eat?" Then Ichigo speaks up. " Actually Yuzu, Orihime is coming over with some of her cooking so if we could just wait a few minutes..." I saw Karin smile a bit. Of course I said yes. Ichigo is in L.O.V.E. I started squealing and when dad heard he started to squeal as well. "Oh Misaki! Our darling son Ichigo is becoming a man at long last!" It wasn't long until Orihime comes by. "Hey, is it okay if I brought some more people with me?" "Of course." I said cheerfully. Behind her were Keigo, Mizurio, Tatsuki, Chad(Sado) and Uryu. Well, that was a hand full of people. Before we knew it, it was practically a party.

Orihime's POV: Whew! That was one crazy evening! Even if it was just eating dinner. Keigo always tried to steal off of Mizurio's plate while Ichigo and Uryu were arguing over who gets the last piece of the chicken. Yuzu tried getting Ichigo to act more his age, but that failed. Its nice have Ichigo back again. But I do miss Rukia and Renji. Even Toshiro and Rangiku. I wonder what they're doing in the soul society.

Toshiro's POV: "RANGIKU!!!" I was screaming as I walked into the office. The smell of sake was all over the place. "Taicho! Want some?" I was pissed off. "What the hell are you doing?! We're supposed to be getting ready for a mission in the world of the living.Pack your things and meet me at the senkaimon." I headed towards the door and stopped right be I left. " One more thing." "Hmm?" Rangiku was still drunk. "NO sake. You understand?" Rangiku woke up right away. "WHAT?! But that isn't fair." She began whining but I just walked out the door.

A while later...

Karin's POV: It was getting late so the so called party, was put to an end with everyone going home.It was a clear night out so Ichigo insisted that he walk Orihime home. I decided to go out for a walk soon after. Dad then went on about me getting home as soon as possible because of all the kidnapping lately, but it wasn't like I was 12 anymore. I'm in junior high now. I didn't know where to walk to, but I felt like my legs knew where to go. Moments later, I find myself at the railing where me and Toshiro used to go when he was in the world of the living and away from the soul society. ****FLASHBACK**** /!\ATTENTION! THIS FLASHBACK SEQUENCE WILL BE IN THIRED-PERSON POV/!\ "TOSHIRO!!" Karin shouted as she ran towards him. "Karin, whats wron-" He is stopped by Karin hugging him tightly. "Rangiku told me that you're leaving tonight. Why didn't you tell me?" He looked at her with a guilty face as she loosen her grip "If I told you, you'd look sad the entire day. I wouldn't want to see you like that. Especially since I don't know how long I'll be away from you." Karin then looked up at him. "But now I know. And I'm never going to let you go! Don't you dare leave me!" Karin hugged him tightly again, but this time she had streams of tears coming out of her eyes. She desperately didn't want him to go. Knowing what was going on in the soul society, she knew he wouldn't be back for a long time. "Hey, cheer up" Toshiro said trying to cheer her up. "C'mon, we have the entire day left. Why don't we spend it together, okay?" Karin's face brightened. "Really? We can?" Toshiro smiled at her. "Yea, whatever you want." After that they spent the entire day together playing soccer, visiting Grandma Haru, and going to town to spend some time together. This was of course the only time they spend together until he left. ****FLASHBACK OVER**** Sniff. Tears started rolling down my eyes. "Toshiro. Why haven't you come back yet? I miss you...a lot. You promised to come back. Please, don't break your promise." I whisperd towards the sky. Tears were still screaming out of my eyes. Why was I crying? He's coming back...right? But what if he doesn't? "I- I just can't bear that!" I ran towards a tree and punched it. Tears were coming out of my eyes like waterfalls. "Karin?" I looked back to see Orihime and my brother, standing there. I ran towards them. I was bawling my eyes out, Ichigo held me close. He knew why I was crying. Orihime knew as well. Toshiro.... I think I.....

Orihime's POV: Ichigo was walking me home when he heard something at the railing where Karin and Toshiro spend most of their time. He thought that maybe Toshiro was back and he could give him a scolding for leaving Karin for so long. He came back a bunch of times before but never to visit her. That wasn't the case. Karin was there with her fist against a tree. She left a mark and we could tell she was hurt. When she noticed us, she ran towards us and Ichigo hugged her, knowing her pain. I looked at her hand, covered in blood. She didn't just hit the tree once, she hit it multiple times. The tree now had blood marks all over the trunk. I told Ichigo to stand back for a sec while I heal her hand. "Sōten Kisshun." Right as I was healing her Ichigo asks Karin if she was crying because of Toshiro. Karin never answered. Once I was finished, I told Ichigo "Karin needs some alone time." I left Karin with a very hesitant Ichigo.

Karin's POV: Ichigo and Orihime left. I was alone. I felt like crying again, but I couldn't. I hade to believe that Toshiro will come back. A shooting star appeared in the sky. I made a wish that Toshiro would come back soon so I could tell him. Tell him that I... Just then a voice spoke. "Karin? I-Is that you?" I turned to see someone I thought I wouldn't be able to see for years. But there he was. Right in front of me. I felt tears roll down my checks. But I wasn't sad, but glad. He finally came back. "TOSHIRO!!"
