first year: the train

Jisoo POV~~~

It was a cloudy morning at platform 9 3/4. The gray smoke billowed into the air filling the air with uncertainty. Students ran around in their uniforms with their house colors proudly displayed through their uniform. Except for us first years of course. 

Needless to say, it was overwhelming. 

I sighed. My parents were both muggles and could not come with me to the train; I was all alone, and I was nervous. 

Walking towards the train doors to board, I noticed a guy around my age. His bleached blond hair stood out in the crowd and his flat eyes stared into mine. His parents behind him seemed to be fussing with him before he got onto the train.

A woman, I assumed was his mother, fixed his coat saying "Remember to meet your cousin Namjoon on the train he can tell you more about what to expect. Do try to get into Slytherin"

I smiled nervously, realizing that I had been staring.

"Yeah I know Mom," The boy scoffed breaking the eye contact with a glare.

OUCH! My face flushed. Did he have to be rude about it?? He could just have looked away without the glare. I exhaled, annoyed, and stepped into the train. Immediately, I was overwhelmed. Students clustered everywhere running in and out of different seat compartments and waving to their parents through the windows. My thoughts were interrupted by a girl tapping me on my shoulder. 

"Hey!" 

I flipped around to see two other first year girls smiling at me. 

"What's your name? How are you? My name is Lisa! I'm from the Blackpink family. She's Lia from the Itzy family!"

The girl named Lisa had bangs with long blond hair and her eyes were huge. They were like bright flying saucers. The second girl, Lia apparently, had silky black hair and the cutest puppy eyes. Both of them radiated high energy but chill vibes. I had to admit that it was a bit intimidating, but I was just thankful that somebody was speaking to me!

I blinked giving them a small smile, "I'm Jisoo & I'm ok! Nice to meet you guys!" I waited a second before blurting, "do you guys mind showing me a place to sit? I don't really know where to go"

The girls squealed causing a couple of glares to shoot their way. But the looks didn't seem to phase the girls. Lisa and Lia grabbed my arms and dragged me down the hall and into a compartment.

Once inside Lia smiled, "I am so excited for this year! I can't believe that we are finally here!!!"

Lisa screamed, "OHMYGOSHIKNOW!!!!" 

I laughed along with them and we chatted about what 'blood' we were. I was a muggleborn, Lisa was a pure blood, and Lia was a half-blood. Lia told us about how she accidentally bought men's robes and how her parents were forcing her to wear them this semester. Lisa told us about this boy named Jungkook that she met right before coming on the train. The way she described him made me want to run out and find him right then! 

I was so happy, it felt like we had known each other for years. It was nice. Finally I remembered something, that rude boy from earlier. 

"Wait- you guys," I interrupted, "there was this boy that I saw earlier. I can't remember his name ..but he had blond hair, brown eyes?? A little bit taller than me? Do you know who it could be."

Lia and Lisa's eyes widened as they looked at each other and groaned, " Not taehyung!"

"Why not Taehyung?" I asked, now intrigued. 

Lia rambled, "He is rich and he knows it. He is extremely snotty about being a pure blood. Plus, he comes from the darkest wizard family in the world. Not exactly the dream guy."

I almost puked. DID THEY THINK I WAS INTERESTED? 

"EW I can tell!" I shuddered, "No wonder he was glaring at me earlier."   

"Yeah" Lisa leaned against the window dramatically, "stay away from him if you don't want to get hurt"

The train lurched foreword and we were on our way to Hogwarts, finally. Sitting back, thinking about what they had said about Tae made my blood boil. Not only did it confirm my suspicion that he was ACTUALLY glaring at me, but it also confirmed that I did not like him. 

I did not like him at all.

OK guys!!! I am so excited to be writing this story and I have a lot of ideas where I want it to go, buuuut do you have any exact dreams about how you want this story to go? I haven't 100% decided what to do with it so I am open to any suggestion!

DISCLAIMER: this is a VSOO story! I am saying that bc Ik a lot of you guys are taekook shippers.  (I know I am hehe) BUT sadly I won't be writing any story that has the main couple as a b+b or g+g relationship. What's the reason? As a straight female, I don't mind reading same sex stories, but I don't feel comfortable writing them. I have never been attracted to somebody of my same gender so I don't think I can accurately write a whole story that centers around it. I mostly worry that I would write it wrong! How am I, a female, supposed to write from 2 boys perspectives who are in love. I have no idea. I don't want to further project any stereotypes of b+b relationships or worse, fetishize them. 

ALSO, this story will have no sex. Sry if you wanted that loll. Just like my last point, because I have never done it with a guy, I don't feel like I could accurately write a whole passage about it. It would literally be the default sex scene in any random 10 year old fantasy fan fiction & that is not a vibe to me lolll. I am trying to write this to stop being so stressed about online school soooo yeah! PS I suck at grammar soooo, sry for you I guess ;). ANYWAY that's it ! Hope you like it!
