Once upon a time in mythical land where human-like cars ruled a distant, unknown planet by the name of "Earth". Inhabiting the land of this planet were many races of car ranging from the Bentley Continental to the low life Station Wagon. Racing was obviously a big part of the cars' culture. With the biggest names in racing, Ben Dover and Hugh Jazz, taking all the glory and fame among the cars. Racing was a "Get rich or break trying" type of activity, so many unmotivated or anxiety driven cars turned to other professions. Other professions consisted of Doctors, Inventors, and "Born Free" hippies which were most commonly Subaru's, Volkswagens, and those heathen hybrid commuter cars.
This story will be about a dreamer by the name of Mike Hawk. Mike dreamt of being a hot shot racer who didn’t have a care in the world besides counting his cash and preparing for his next race. The only problem, he was a Honda Civic that would never have the insane horse power, fancy turbos, or crazy nitro boosts as the stars. This never stopped him from racing though, he was always challenging his friends and strangers to friendly competitions. They would always race on the track he made behind a major mechanics shop that his dad worked at. His track was completely dirt making traction and weather a major factor. No matter what he was always on that track, whether he was by himself practicing tight corners, or he was racing friends for money and parts. Although he never obtained crazy cool parts he still earned
some things that made his engine anything but stock. From an aftermarket K&N cold air intake to an aftermarket FlowMaster exhaust system. With all his aftermarket mods he could at least compete without breaking or flooding out, making him mentally and physically confident.
One day, Mike caught the attention of a local race track by the name of Happy Trails. One of the scouts, Short Stanley, was rolling by when they heard the sound of gears banging, dirt flying, body rattling, intense racing. The scout had to take a look to see who exactly was ripping through this mediocre race track. He took a look and saw Mike shredding the gnar dirt like he has never seen before.
"Holy Shift!" said the scout racing to go introduce himself to this prodigy.
"Hey man, I'm Short Stanley from Happy Trails racing! You were ripping it up out there! what's your name son?" said Stanley when he finally got Mike's attention.
In shock Mike replied "Dude I'm Mike Hawk what's up?"
"You looked amazing out there, how about you stop by our track and meet my boss sometime." said Stanley while handing him the address of Happy Trails race track.
So the next morning Mike eagerly rolled his way to the professional style race track, savoring every minute of this monumental event. When he arrived, Stanley greeted him at the door with some fresh oil. Stanley then led Mike to his boss Tall Timothy who was talking to some other racers.
"Hey man this is the guy I was telling you about!" Said Stanley to Timothy.
"Ahh Mike I have heard a lot about you! I want to sign you to a 10 day contract to see what you have against other racers. If you do well we can work something out and you could really get your foot in the door here at Happy Trails racing." said Timothy to Mike.
Mike quickly agreed and signed his name on the dotted line. That first day he was on the track for the first time taking test trials that blew everyone's' motors off their mounts. He was slaying racers left and right. Spending long nights on the track practicing until his tires were basically bald. Soon he was signing a 5 year contract with Happy Trails slowly becoming their centerpiece.
Mike was gaining momentum as quick as #Alexfromtarget, soon getting professional racers following him on Twitter sending him encouraging tweets and inviting him to friendly competitions. Then he caught the attention of the racers that would change his life forever, Ben Dover and Hugh Jazz. They were the hot shots, the biggest names in racing, the Micheal Jordan and Babe Ruth. They sent him a challenge letter trying to race. Mike was skeptical and directly called Ben Dover himself.
