"Hey can I uh get a picture with you please?" A fan asked Rayne shyly. Tour had started about three weeks ago right before Christmas. It was now 2016 and Rayne was enjoying the life on the road. With a smile Rayne nodded yes and leaned over for a picture as the shy fan snapped a picture on her iphone. She still hadn't gotten use to the fans wanting pictures with her, she guessed it was because she was in so many 'selfies' with the guys on their instagrams that the fans just assumed being nice would get them a shot at meeting the band. Maybe it was because they thought she was dating one of them, or maybe it was because Ricky had posted tons about her and they'd heard her sing. She didn't know and she honestly didn't care anymore she was just humbled that they wanted to take photos with her. "Thank you so much, uhm can i get that shirt right there?" The girl asked pointing at the third shirt in the row with a shaking hand. "Of course. What size?" Rayne said in a sweet tone, turning around to dig in the box. "Extra small." Rayne had already reached the extra smalls, as she could tell how small the girl was by looking at her. She remembered when she was that age, she too was that small and not in the healthy way. Neither was this girl, Rayne felt sorry for her but she didn't let it show. She knew that getting pity from a stranger was the last thing that little girl wanted. What that little girl really wanted was to be loved by her family, Was it her mother? Father? Maybe she didn't even have them. Maybe she lived with her grandparents and they were religious and way too hard on her. Whatever it was Rayne didn't want to know, it wasn't her business after all.
"Twenty dear." Rayne said before handing the girl her shirt. The girl looked panicked as she patted her pockets on her jeans,"I...lost my wallet." The girl looked up a Rayne with tears brimming her eyes she was just about to walk away when Rayne handed her the shirt anyway. "I'll pay for it. Take it, I know this concert and band mean a lot to you." the girl smiled and pulled Rayne in for a hug, shocked Rayne smiled and hugged her back. After they let go the girl skipped off happily. Rayne leaned back and smiled to her self. "I saw that." startled Rayne looked behind her to see Ricky smiling at her. "That was a nice thing to do. But we need the money don't do it often.." Rayne nodded. "I understand.. She just looked so sad." Ricky nodded and pulled Rayne close, "Close this down and come side stage." he whispered.
Rayne was listening to the band play, they were great just as the first time she saw them. She tapped her foot and headbanged along. It was the last song and the guys were dripping with sweat. Rayne was dreading the smell the bus was going to have for the next two days, she had just gotten the smell from the last show out. Luckily she packed tons of ferbreeze. The guys ran off stage one by one all giving Ranye a big sweaty stinky hug. "Ugh gross guys!" she complained. Ricky was the last to give her a hug. "What you don't like our love?" He joked still hugging her. "I don't like your sweat." She said pinching her nose making the men laugh. "We're staying at a hotel tonight so we'll be able to shower." Chris informed her. "Thank god! Off day tomorrow as well?" She asked Chris laughed and nodded. "Good i can clean the bus." She told them. "What is it with you and cleaning?" Ghost asked after swallowing a big gulp of water. "I don't know! Maybe i just like a clean nice smelling environment." Rayne giggled. "Give her about two months into tour, she'll give up." Ricky said draping his arm across her shoulders. Rayne just laughed and shook her head. "Can we get back to my station so i can pack up?" She asked no one in particular. The guys all nodded and they heading towards the merch table that was set up close to the stage. Rayne thanked the security for watching the booth and started packing things away. Once she had everything put away they all headed back to the bus to relax on the ride to the hotel.
Rayne fell asleep on Ricky's shoulder on the way to the hotel. She had stayed up the night before reorganizing shirts and other merch because of a mishap that had happened when they were shipped. The guys told her she didn't have to, but she felt she should. After being up all night she was up all day as well. No matter how many times the guys told her to take a break she didn't. Then she spent the rest of the night selling merch and talking to fans. The guys really admired her strength. It made them wonder what she really did in her normal life. "We're here." Chris whispered to Ricky. "I'll carry her in." Ricky whispered back sitting his book down beside him. He slowly got up and gently picked Rayne in his arms bridal style. She stirred in her sleep and rested her head on his chest. He looked down at her and smiled a little. The feelings he was starting to feel for her were confusing him. He didn't know what to think.
