I awoke Monday morning with a smile on my face. My first day of classes! I eagerly went to my closet to retrieve my perfectly ironed floral dress. Its a bit tight up top, tighter than I'm used to, but it flows at the bottom, and the hem reaches my mid-thigh.

I plugged in my curling wand, and as I was waiting for it to heat up, I applied my mascara and a touch of eyeliner. I haven't been able to stop thinking about my kiss with Luke. Why did he just walk away without a word? But more importantly...why did he kiss me in the first place?

My curious thoughts were interrupted by the faint beeping from my curling wand, telling me it's ready. I curl my hair into bouncy curls but brush them out to make them have a softer appeal.

I take a final glance at myself in the mirror and slightly smile. I still have 45 minute until class begins, so I put on my red heels and decided to explore the campus a bit. After about 15 minutes into my walk, I come across a petite little book/coffee shop. I decided to take a look at it.

After I ordered my French vanilla cappuccino, I take my Mac Book out of my bag and browse around online for a while. Before I know it, it's time for class.

I walk into the room with a smile on my face and take a seat towards the middle. I don't want to seem too eager by taking a seat up front, besides, most of those seats were already taken. to my right sits a dark haired boy with a few tattoos. he introduces himself as Calum, with a slight smirk appearing on his face as he shook my hand.

My professor is a middle aged man with dark brown hair combed over to the side. He wears glasses and a sweater best to top off the look. With one minute remaining until class officially begins, strolling in comes Luke. I groan quietly and roll my eyes, but then focus them on Luke. He catches me staring and smirks, while making his way up to the empty seat next to me.

"Hello Kaylee" he says with a cocky smile.

"Kylie" I correct him and roll my eyes yet again.

"I know. I just like making you mad" he says and turns his head to face the professor, as do I.

After class ends, I grab all of my belongings in a hurry, hoping to avoid any type of conversation with Luke.

"So Kaylee" he says. Well there goes my hopes.

"What?" I snap. "And by the way my name is Kylie. K-y-l-i-e. Got it?" I said. He is pissing me off more and more each time I speak with him.

"Damn babe chill." he says and throws his hands up as if he were to be arrested. Small butterflies flutter in my stomach at the sound of the pet name, but I quickly shake the feeling away.

I walk away before he can say anything else. The less I talk to him and the farther I am away from him, the better, I have decided.
