xiv. a stalker by chance !
|AMBROSIA AND BELLA ARRIVED AT THE CLOSEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT, which was all the way in La Push. It looked kind of dirty and banged up, but Ambrosia didn't mind. She just wanted Italian food, and she was going to get it. No person was going to stop her. Apparently.
Ambrosia was chatting with Bella, when she walked into something hard, otherwise known as Quil Ateara the fifth. Amber groaned walking back a few steps as she held her head in her hands. "Ouch." She whimpered looking up to see a tanned boy with chubby cheeks and curly hair.
He looked down at the girl and realized she was holding the side of her face in her hands. "Oh gosh." He muttered. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." He apologized, rubbing the back of is neck. When he met eyes with the girl he noticed her nasal tube, and immediately recognized her as his pack mate's, Leah's, imprint.
"It's alright." Ambrosia said, smiling slightly, wincing at the tiny pain of her lips tugging. "I wasn't looking where I was going, if anything I should apologize to you." She said.
The boy wondered why she was in La Push, the last he heard she had just gotten back from the hospital for some reason, and she lived in Forks. Quil nodded. "You don't happen to be Ambrosia right?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow, which earned him a look full of confusion from the said girl.
"You don't happen to be a stalker do you?" She asked, mimicking his raised eyebrow. How had he known her name?
Quil laughed awkwardly. "No, no, definitely not." He said. A few moments passed and Ambrosia was staring at him weirdly and he had no idea why. At this point Bella got bored and wandered inside of the Italian restaurant, ignoring Amber's calls to come back. What? Bella was just going to leave her with a random guy who knew her name?
She was giving him a deathly stare as she waited for him to explain how he had known her name. After a few more minutes, and Quil awkwardly rubbing his neck, the girl huffed, throwing her arms up dramatically. "Are you going to tell me how you know my name or not?" She asked, trying her hardest not be be rude and impolite.
Quil's eyes widened. Now that was probably the reason she was practically glaring at him. He seemed to be in a pickle. Leah had mentioned to the pack that she had't met her face to face yet, other than the wolf encounters. He had to make up a reason why he knew her, and remembered that Embry had met her around two weeks ago. "Uh.. Embry?" He said, his voice making it seem like a question. "Embry Call? He's a friend of mine.. apparently you met at the beach here.."
Ambrosia's mouth formed an 'o' shape. She was a little disbelieving at his strange tone of voice. Perhaps he was just an awkward teenage boy who couldn't talk with girls? She had felt a little bad at her assumption of him being a stalker. She nodded, her smile returning to her face, with Quil blushed at. He quickly coughed and it faded away. "Sorry for being.." She trailed off, gesturing to herself. "Rude. I just didn't expect that."
