The perilous Journey : Diary of a Survivor

Entry One

Dear Diary,
A sunny day. Perfect for a good, long hike up the mountains. I live right near a mountain range so I take any chance I can get to strap on my boots and a backpack full of supplies to hike up any trail I can find. My favorite trail though, is the one that leads to Normondon river. It has a beautiful view of the mountain range and the valley that I live in.

My name is Lunete Spillane, but everyone just calls me Luna, and I am a naturist. I have been a hiking and nature fanatic ever since I was young. I would always set off on a journey to find the unknown. but my sweet days of blissful innocence, soon came to an end. During my hike I encountered an increasing forest fire, and if it weren't for the fireman who saved me, I would have been incinerated along with the rest of the used-to-be beautiful scenery around me. This is what started my erratic fear of flames. It has traumatized me since I was young, so much that I can barely cook on my own, unless it involves a microwave or an oven.

Recently, I have been hearing news of a rare treasure hidden on a mountain range in Asia called the Himalayan mountains, so I am going to take my sister, Haylie Fedelm with me. She has a different mother so we have different last names. My father had married her mother when my mother passed away at my birth, so Haylie became my little sister.

Helen Iseult, Leyton Marcellinus, and Bart Siegfried, my three best friends are also coming with me to Asia to search for the lost treasure. It is called The mysterious stone of Kalakaua, and I am determined to find it. As are my friends, but since you don't know them as well as me, here is a little bit about them.

Helen Iseult is a professional rock climber, and has won three championships in the art of rock climbing. She has brunette hair and tan skin because of all the rock climbing she has done. She has even successfully climbed the side of a big rock in Yosemite called Half Dome. She loves cats, and her husband is currently away, working to fight for our nation in the military. His name is Marcone Iseult, and he is a very handsome man. I have known Helen since we went to school together. We were like three peas in a pod. Her husband, her and I. She is 23, and her husband is 24.

Leyton Marcellinus is an Olympic bike rider, may it be mountainous terrain or the roads leading away. He has won three golds and two silvers and is also currently my boyfriend. He has two dogs and one iguana named Sir Michaelson. He loves deep sea diving, and has a job working at Google. He is the main CEO and whenever I can, I go visit him at work. His hair is a dirty blond, and his eyes are as blue as a the deep sea he dives in. His skin is a light tan, and he is very handsome. He is 22 and he loves to play frisbee.

Bart Siegfried is a Skydiving instructor, who has been skydiving since he was born, literally. The first time he went skydiving, was with his family nearly the day after he was born. He loves reading books and eating bananas. He is always carrying one around with him somewhere. He has red hair and enough freckles to share. His skin is pasty white and pale, but he doesn't let anyone make fun of him for it. He is also the current boyfriend of my little sister; Haylie. He is 20 but has the demeanor of a child.

Haylie Fedelm looks just like her mother. She has jet black hair and pale ivory skin. She has a beautiful smile full of light and is as nice as they come. She is a kayak, canoe, funyak, you name it, instructor. Any type of boat, she can navigate and drive perfectly. She is 19 but has the maturity of an adult.

I on the other hand and completely different from everyone else. I have dirty blond hair, that has natural highlights of white blond in it, and I have a few freckles on my cheeks. My skin has a peachy glow, and is slightly tan. My face is thin, but I am not. I weigh 96 pounds, thats a lot for a 21 year old woman!

The reason I am writing this journal is because if anything were to happen to me while I am on this perilous and deadly journey, that someone may know my story, however insane it may become.
