(Story is being told by Mary).
Waking up to the soft touch of Ririka's hands wrapped around me, and the bright sun hitting my face as I gaze out the window. Unlike my girlfriend, my eyes aren't as sensitive, she tends to tear up to the sun nearly smacking her eyes.
I think it's quite adorable if you ask me, but I tend to keep that to myself.
I slowly untuck myself from Ririkas grasp, slowly removing myself from our bed. I groan while looking at the time, only seeing it's 7:00 I have no reason to panic. The sight of Ririka sleeping made me want to gaze at her for hours, if could not blink I wouldn't. There is no wasted time when hanging out with her. I barely tell her this, nor think to myself. Stretching from after getting 10 hours of sleep, it felt nice to get up. I head to the bathroom to take a steamy shower, I like them hot. Ririka likes them cold, that's just her. I could smell her scent in all of my clothing, it's a nice mint.
I came across her mask this morning in the bathroom while it's just sitting there, I could feel it peering into my soul. It always creeped the hell out of me, I just wish she didn't wear it literally all the time. I'll show her that she's more than just this stupid act, she's way more.
As annoyed as I was, I decided to simply brush my fingers across it and turn it away from staring at me.
If only Ririka was confident, I'll get back at Kirari one day. She never deserved to be treated like literal shit by her older sister. All I have to worry about is beating her and becoming president for now. I know I can pull it off on my own.
After I was done with my shower, I tiptoe back to the bedroom in only a towel. I was suprised at the sight of Ririka up, looking at me from a far. I walked into the warm room, ready to about pounce on my girlfriend and give her a hug.
"Goodmorning Sweetheart!" Ririka exclaimed while staring at me. "Well, I'm surprised to see you up this morning," I chuckled.
I lunged onto her while holding her so very tightly. My hands go around her head to feel her soft hair. I got a breath full of heavily scented mint. Rirka held onto me with a tight grab. I took a moment to look into her eyes, this was our second time waking up to each other.
Ririka opened her mouth slighty to speak like she always does, "So..." Her hands trailed on my back, while giving me a loving stare.
"I see you took a shower without me, you know that I don't mind taking a warm shower with you dear!" Her hands rubbed my back, I sunk deep into her eyes seeing if she was going to speak again so I don't interrupt her.I laughed while quickly glancing down at her collar bone. "Well, you know that we always can have more time for that Ririka," I smiled back up to her, allowing for her to speak.
She paused while looking outside. I was confused at the sight of rain smacking our window. I swear it was just sunny a while ago. Despite that happening, I enjoy to see that Ririka loves staring at the rain sometimes. I don't see why, but I just allow her to take that moment for herself to nibble up.
Ririka took a breath and stared back at me again. "Sweetie, may I go on another walk in the rain?"
"Ririka, it's pouring. I don't want anything to happen to you, isn't hard enough to see through that stupid mask?"
She stopped staring at me, only to look down in despair. The light airy blue of her eyes really does stand out.
"You know what.." I put my hand on her chin and slightly adjust her head back up to look at me. "If you really want to go you can. I know that you do love the rain-" She grabbed onto me tightly once again putting her head over my shoulder while giving me a kiss on the neck.
"Thank you Mary. May I use your rain coat?" My rain coat was this weird brown line pattern. Ririka would literally wear anything that doesn't draw attention to her.
"Of course you can, what's mine is yours" I said half grinning. I look at the wall, turning it into a ful smile while noticing her grasp was getting weaker. Ririka was quick to get ready, my only concern is her wearing that hideous mask out in the rain. I caught a glimpse of her giggling while walking out the door. Not to mention, my towel is still wrapped around me.
She tied a tight knot to keep it up while hugging, I would've never thought of that! God, she is so very smart. It'll pay off for her in the future. I close the bedroom door while getting ready. The uniform is quite tight fighting, I'd complain but it's just a waist of time. It's not like they're going to put money into something that doesn't benefit themselves.
Watching the rain get even more harsh, my mind starts to wander for a short second. I open my mouth only to quickly mutter,
"Will Ririka be okay?"
