"We can still be friends, right? After all that had happened 7 years ago?" That question lingered longer in my mind that I thought I would, it is just a question but I don't know why it is affecting me so much. First of all, Lucas Hwang is someone that I have met in the past but I am not in his present or even his future, we ended our relationship 7 years ago and that was the end of our chapter, never to be revisited again.

But why am I still thinking so hard about the past then? Even Lucas Hwang want this to be put behind us and be friends with me, the relationship that we were in before we found that we had feelings for each other. It should be easy for me to say that we want to be friends again but it seemed so difficult, nothing much is going to happen between the two of us if we were to be friends.

I don't need to worry so much about it, we will most likely send each other weird memes and hang out together sometimes, Yanan doesn't need to know about this as well and if he needs to know about Lucas Hwang, I will make sure to distance myself away from Lucas Hwang at some point. But nothing much is going to happen, isn't that right?

A sudden phone call broke the silence and I looked at my phone, it was Soojin, I guess that she finally got out of bed after a whole night of drinking and partying. "Hello?"

"Yuqi, did you get home safely last night?" She sounded really grouchy, the hangover must be really bad as I suppose, how much did she even drink to sound like that?

"Well, I didn't make it home last night. I was drunk as hell and I passed out at the party and Lucas brought me back to his apartment for the night." I immediately stopped as I had just realized that I had blurted out everything to one of the people who were involved in our breakup 7 years ago.

Seo Soojin kept silent for almost a minute before she quickly muttered something before hanging up. "Send me your home address and I will be there in 15 minutes..."

I gulped my saliva and only hoped for the worse that is going to happen to me in the next 15 minutes, Seo Soojin is very polite and meek when she is not being activated in her rage mode but her rage mode is something else, I don't even want to see that in action.

I inhaled and exhaled deeply, it is nothing much and nothing much even happened between me and Lucas Hwang. He told me that he didn't touch me for the entire night and left me alone in his spare bedroom after taking off my shoes and he even cooked me breakfast even after I yelled at him at the top of his lungs.

He is really an angel and he doesn't deserve all of this, I am the bad guy right now accusing someone of something that he didn't do and insisted that he is bad when you are actually the bad guy in this and Seo Soojin is the gossiping woman. I heard the doorbell and I went to get the door, she really came as fast as she can and she is still dressed in her pyjamas and having no makeup on.

"You better tell me everything from the start till the end, don't spare any details." She said to me before walking into my apartment and settling on my couch like it is her own apartment. "Make me a cup of coffee, and a cup for yourself as well. We are going to be here for a few hours so make sure that you get your bowels emptied before that."

I made her coffee from the high-tech coffee machine that I have purchased and it is the first time that I am making coffee for someone else other than myself, I didn't forget to add on some snacks as well so that she doesn't feel hungry halfway through. I walked back to the living room and she was laying down on her couch as if it is really her bed, she would live here and not want to live at all if I allowed her to.

I told her everything from the start to the end, even the part where I thought that I was beautiful until I realized that my makeup was all smeared and I look like a monster. She burst out into laughter as she imagined me looking like some hideous monster, I am glad that she is still laughing after she knows that nothing happened and Lucas Hwang is still a gentleman, a true gentleman doesn't treat a woman with disrespect and sees the woman on an equal standing.

"I didn't expect Lucas Hwang to still be friendly to you, you guys had a horrible breakup 7 years ago and you even had dinner with him as if nothing happened between the two of you. How is that even possible? Did you tell him that you have a boyfriend?" She munched on all the snacks in an instant and I looked around for more but I couldn't find any, she finished my weekly supply of snacks in just one sitting.

How does she look so thin when she eats like a cow? I suddenly feel bad for Jungwoo because he has a part in buying the groceries and he will cry every night knowing that his wife is a cow that eats and eats nonstop, but I am sure that he has the money to provide for her, they are married after all.

"I told him everything about my relationship and I asked him if he is really dating anyone but he said that he has been single for a couple of years. Is that true?" I asked her.

"He doesn't really tell us much about his dating life and we all assumed that he would be going out on dates every now and then but it didn't turn out to be the case." She looked at me. "That could only mean one thing, he still hasn't moved on from you. He is still stuck in the past and he can't walk out of that."
