Chapter 8-Jealousy?

It was morning,after a long deserved night of sleep Mihiro remembered Yesterday's event and the way he sprung into action was still shocking to him as he was never that much of a brave person nor a quick thinking person
"Ehh must've been the adrenaline."he sighed.

"Good morning Shirou morning Michiru !" Mihiro greeted as he made his way to the table.Shirou giving him a nod and michiru a wave.
"Huh,Melissa and Gem aren't here?"I asked. "Oh they are out early,spending some time together"Michiru answered.

"That's nice I guess,So you guys got any plans for today?"
"We're out on patrol like usual"Shirou answered.
"Cool,I'm going too right?"

"Mayor called and she wants you at her office,she wants you to come alone for whatever reason." He informed.

Mihiro kept thinking about it ideas coming in and out of his head ("so if the mayor wants me that means she must have a top secret mission for- "),
"You Should go now you don't want to be late"
.Shirou cut me off my thoughts

"!Oh god you're right"
I then put on my shoes and jacket and took the front door in a hurry and started running to city hall.

As I got there I noticed a very shady yet fancy black car but I wasn't going to let myself be nosy again as that only gets me trouble.After a lot of floors i was finally at Mayor Rose's office

"Oh Mihiro,you're right on time!"
"Good morning Mayor Rose, I'm assuming you've got a secret top mission for me.do you need some bad guys to be put in behind bars cause I'm up for it"
She laughs at Mihiro's sudden change in attitude and confidence."If I did i would have just sent Shirou and Michiru although I was impressed by you're heroic act yesterday. But I'm afraid I brought you here today to meet a certain person I didn't expect to ever come back.."
"Who?"

The door suddenly opens to the one and Only...

"Alan Sylvasta?"
"You know him?"the Mayor asks."Oh I only know of him,like how he owns Sylvasta pharmaceuticals and that he's human representative and he comes from a rich family..I guess"

("So he doesn't know of last year?this will be hard to explain") the thought flew by the mayor.

"Ahh you must be Mihiro pleasure to meet you" he offers his hand.
"Yes uuhm,nice to meet you too!"Mihiro said as he shook his hand.

"Why don't we get to know each other more while we tour the city."Alan said with a shady smirk as he looked at the mayor,giving back a worried stare .

As we exited the building I noticed we were heading to that car I remembered seeing by the entrance.
He opened the door for me like a gentleman and after we got seated the driver started the car and drove .
I sat by the side of the window with no clue of what I should say.

"Don't worry you can talk, trust me I don't bite"  Alan said in a joking way.
"A-Alright here's a question, what brings a man as rich and important like you to anima city besides being The human rep and founder of sylvasta pharmaceuticals?"
"I strive for peace and equality between humans and beast men and I'm ready to support this no matter the price"he said cockily, "Do you get bad looks from other beast men?"
"Unfortunately yes,it's one of the hard parts of being human rep although I always try my best"
"I know how you feel,I might not look or smell like it but I am a beast man!"
"I know, you're case is rather very interesting and a first, that's why I wanted to talk to you I don't want you to feel uncomfortable and alone in this city" he said worriedly
"Oh no no no I'm not alone I've made cool friends in this city and there like family"I said with a smile .
"You live at the beast men co-op am I right ?so you must know Ogami and miss Kagemori."
"Yeah that's them! Are you guys friends?"
