I had just filed a divorce against my ex. E/n very toxic, and abusive, mentally and physically. I had just left court and I needed something to take my mind off of the trauma I have been through.
Then all of a sudden, my f/n calls me on my phone telling me that the next week we should go shopping next weekend. I said "Sure! That seems fun." Then f/n replies, "Alright see you this weekend!"
Then I hang up the phone. I had been craving a Mc Donald's frappe. I decided to go and pull up in the Mc Donald's drive through.
Once I had gotten to the ordering mic, I said, "One small caramel frappe please!" And the person behind the mic said "2.39 at the window." Then I pulled up, the person opened the window, and as soon as the frappe was in sight I felt like everything was glowing. It was like I was in heaven. The sweet smell of the caramel had made me close my eyes tight and curl my toes. Then I grabbed the frappe and gave the person the money. "Thank you!" I said, before I had exited the Mc Donald's.
