Start of spring,
The sky has been in a good mood today, winds dancing in the air announcing everyone the arrival of spring, but the possessiveness of the clouds towards the sun was indescribable. People walking in the streets ,some cheerful, some serious, some happy with their life and some giving up the idea of being happy.
In between these city noises the breaking of one innocent soul's heart got engulfed.
"You are useless ,you know that! "
The girl just held her head down taking all the blame and insult her drunk husband was giving.She didn't have any choice. After all he was the person who was feeding her and her family ,an only brother of 5 yrs old.
"What!? Now you are mute too!?
God! What a mistake to marry you!
The only good thing about you is your beautiful face! If it wasn't for that-Augh!!"
Slamming the beer bottle in his hands at the table,to let out the frustration in him he walked out.
Finally letting out a shaky breath she has been holding, a tear rolled down her rosy cheeks.
"Ma?"
A small boy with pure doe sparkling eyes peeking through the main door spoke up gaining the attention of the young lady.
Quickly wiping her tears she turned towards him letting out a bright smile, holding so much emotions, hiding so much sadness.
"Minnie! You are done playing with your friends, little?"
She spoke in a cheerful voice hiding the cracking of her voice at the start.Minnie looked at his sister with a gloomy expression, Even though he was only five years old, he was still smart enough to notice the difference between a fake and a real smile.
"Ma,Why are you sad? Han yelled at you again?"
He came towards her sister and she knelt down to match his height.
//Minnie, is a really smart kid.He is really mature for his age.He calls his sister Ma because his sister didn't wanted to make him feel like he didn't had a mom.
Loosing parents in an early age can teach you many lessons and when they die infront of you,the scar, the memory of that moment never leaves.It stays in you.
His sister who is fifteen yrs older than him was forced to married Han Wills ,A 34yrs old man, cause he was the only one who offered them a shelter and food when there was no one.//
"No, Minjoon.He didn't.W-We were just talking."
"You are lying! You call me by my name and your ears turn red when you lie,ma."
He pouts as she quickly touches her ear with wide eyes.
"D-Does it?"
Scratching her neck she stands up and stretches out her right hand.
"Let's go to buy groceries Minnie.What do you wanna eat for dinner?"
His eyes sparkles at the mention of food and soon a beautiful smile blooms in his face.
"I want to eat shrimp!"
Squealing he holds her hand tightly and starts dragging her to the main door.
"Let's go Ma!"
She chuckles at her little cute brothers excitement for shrimp and let's him drag her outside.
//There's a saying, "Difficult roads often leads to beautiful destinations."
But we humans are a weak creatures pretending to be strong, they try every way possible to save themselves,rather than dealing with the problems they are facing they try to run away from it.
But then again who wouldn't?
We often build a wall around us named "I'm fine"
We get so used to these words that we start to believe everything really is fine,maybe this is how it should have been.We just accept it. It's the easiest after all.But what we don't do is face it,try to solve it.
Once we try to mend ourselves,our surroundings will mend by itself.//
(At the Grocery store)
"Sir,We should go now!Your father will punish us if he finds out that we let you out of the house without any guards!"
A old man in his early 60's spoke with a panicked tone to the young man standing infront of him holding two bottles of milk with different flavours in his both hands looking confused.
"Chill Sejin~ He won't find out.Now, tell me which one looks better?"
The young man shows the two bottles to the old man and he let's out a sigh at the chilled behaviour of the young man.
"Sir,We should really go b-"
He was cut off by something suddenly bumping at his legs and he looked down.A kid was rubbing his now red nose because of bumping at the old man's leg.
"Ouch!"
"Are you okay,kid?"
The young man bends down to match the kids height with a smile and ruffles his hair.
"Yeah I'm okay, I'm sorry for bumping into you Mr ,and I'm not a kid. I'm five years old."
The kid speaks in a very well mannered way sounding much mature than his age.
The young man looks at him with amused eyes and a sweet smile while asking.
"What's your name then young man?"
The kid first stays quite staring at the man for a few seconds and then speaks.
"Usually,I don't tell my name to strangers but you look like a good guy so I will tell you, I'm Minjoon."
The man starts laughing and the old man chuckles at the behaviour of the small kid.
The man was about to speak when they hear someone yelling.
"Minnie! Where are y- There you are!! I told you not to run away!"
The man stands up from the ground from kneeling starring at the girl who slowly came towards them and kneeled down infront of the kid.
"Ma! I was not running, I just saw iron man's toy here so I came to see it closely."
The girl chuckles and then looks infront of her meeting the eyes of the young man ehohas been staring at her the moment she came in view.
"I'm sorry, did he do something?"
She speaks with a apologizing tone.
"Huh?"
The old man nudges him making him come back to reality.
"N-No no! he didn't!"
He says in a flustered tone as his cheeks slowly turns into the shade of light red.
The old man sighs totally understanding the situation and speaks to the now confused girl.
"No Miss,He didn't do anything.But you have a really well mannered child I must say."
She smiles sweetly at his words and bows thanking him.
"Mr. And Ajhussi, You didn't tell me your names, I told you mine."
Minjoon speaks while the girl stands up and looks at him.
"Minnie! You shouldn't ask-"
He cuts her off speaking while looking at Minjoon.
"It's okay! My name is Jungkook and this is Sejin my butler, Minnie~
Nice to meet you young man and ?"
He looks at the girl for her name as she speaks up.
"Oh, It's Y/n,Lee Y/n."
She smiles sweetly at him as Minnie looks at her and then looks at Jungkook.
A small smirk appears in his face which he quickly changes it with a pure smile while speaking gaining their attention.
"Jungkook? How old are you? Are you married too?"
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
Both of them says in a sync while looking confused at him.And the old man smiles.
"I'm 24 and no, I'm not married Minnie.
Why are you asking?"
He says looking confused.
"Nothing ,just asking."
"You shouldn't ask personal things to anyone Minnie ,say sorry."
Y/n says with a strict tone and Minnie says a soft sorry.
"I'm sorry Mr.Jungkook and Mr.Sejin but we will have to leave now.It was nice talking with you."
She bows to them and stretches her hand out for Minnie to hold which he does.
Both of the men bows back to her and she starts walking away.
A long sigh leaves the lips of the young man making the old man to look at him with knowing eyes.
"Falling in Love at first sight now are we?"
"What did u just say old man!?
Love at first sight? Are you kidding?"
Jungkook laughs loudly and old man just shakes his head.
"Anyways, take this I am buying the banana flavour."
"Yes, Young master."
"And stop calling me young master. Just call me Jungkook,sejin."
The old man just shrugs smiling and goes to pay for the milk.
"It wasn't love at first sight...It was just a encounter...a beautiful encounter"
A beautiful shy smile crepts up his face as the memory of the encounter replays in his mind.
