Nightmares

That night, I had another nightmare. But this time, it was about Eri and the other girl, and Overhaul was nowhere in sight.

They were in a small room, sitting on opposite sides of the room on different beds. They were both much younger, maybe 4 or 5, and their hair was shorter than in my other nightmare. Suddenly the door opened, and three men stepped in.

The first man was Overhaul, who I recognized from his mask. Then there was a tall man with a bird's mask and white robes, and a bigger man who was sweaty and pale in the dim light.

Overhaul walked over to Eri and studied her. "Her quirk is called Rewind, correct?"

"Y-yes, sir," the bigger man said, sounding scared. 

"Take her," he said, motioning to pick up Eri. 

He glanced over at the mysterious girl while the man hurriedly picked up Eri, who struggled for a few moments before the man knocked her out.

"Who's this?" Overhaul asked, walking over to her.

The small girl scooted father into the corner of her bed, a scared look on her face. 

"I-I don't know. Boss didn't mention her," the man said.

He knelt down so he was eye level with her. "She looks similar to Eri. Could they be sisters?"

"G-go away," the little girl whimpered.

He thought for a moment. "Take her too. The more the merrier, or whatever people say these days."

The man reached out to pick up the mysterious girl, but the moment he touched her he choked and dropped Eri on the floor, holding his head. 

"Let go of me," the girl whispered, hardly loud enough for anyone to hear. 

He didn't let go, and after a few seconds he gasped out, then disappeared into thin air.

Everyone was silent. The mysterious girl put her hand to her mouth and tears formed into her eyes. Just then I noticed the pair of black gloves covering her hands.

"No... not again..." She began to sob.

Overhaul studied her for a long while before leaning closer and saying, "Who are you?"

She didn't answer. Overhaul glanced over at the man in the white robes, who had been quiet this whole time. 

"Kurono, this girl is strong. Possibly stronger than Eri."

Kurono nodded slightly. "Yes, but remember, we came here to get Eri and only Eri, Overhaul."

"Who cares?" He said. "We're taking both of them. Come get Eri, I'll take the other girl."

Then I found myself sitting straight up in bed, screaming.

I quickly shoved my hand in my mouth and tried to calm down, but I couldn't. I could barely breathe and I felt light headed. 

About a minute later, I still wasn't feeling well and a knock at my door scared me.

"Hikari? Are you okay?" I heard Ochaco's voice through my door.

"Yeah, we heard a scream come from your room," Kirishima's voice called, sounding worried. "Are you alright, Kazenikura?"

I slowly trudged over to the door and opened it slightly. "Y-yeah, it was just a nightmare," I whispered, not quite meeting their eyes. "Apologies for waking you."

"You sure? Sounded like quite a nightmare, then," Kirishima said, still looking worried. I always thought he looked strange with his hair down since I was so used to it spiked up.
