DREAMING FROM THE CEILING

Dreamining from the Ceiling

Did you know your pillow can make things appear
Like a rabbit from a magician's top hat
It will take you to places that you've never been
Then bring you right back, just like that!

When you close you your eyes, you'll find you can travel
To places that seem so bizarre
You'll be scratching your head, and think "That is weird"
There's a monkey who's driving a car!

First let us see what we find at the beach
It's a fish, but that's not so weird
Except that this fish is the one who is fishing
And it's caught an old man by the beard!

Next, let us take a trip above the clouds,
In a large coloured hot air balloon
But this balloon is full of giraffes
And it's on a course straight to the moon!

Well that is strange, but the next night you find
That your bed is now climbing the wall
Then pretty soon it is up on the ceiling
And the weird thing is that you don't fall!

Now you're riding a camel, NO! it's riding you!
And you're licking ice cream in a cone
Then you both hear a sound, and turn around
To find that you are not alone. (Where did they all come from?)

Next night you're sitting at the kitchen table
And your dinner is cooked by your dog!
He's made you a roast that is fit for a King
And you're eating with Prince and a frog.

And now you are swimming with sharks wearing sunnies.
And another night jousting with knights
You find yourself dancing at a friends birthday party
In a room full of flickering lights.

With your head on your pillow, and eyes nearly closed
You start to feel tired, then yawn
It won't be long now till you fall fast asleep
And another adventure is born.

So when you awake come and tell me your tale,
I have a feeling that this could be fun
Then we'll write it down, and the next thing you've found,
Is you've written a book like this one.
