Best Friend

Chapter 1

My friend Alyssa and I are going to our first K-pop concert and fan sign together. It will also be the first time we'll be meeting in person. We are so excited. Thr group we agreed to go to together is the new Starship group, CRAVITY. We heard that Monsta X will be opening for them, which made us want to go even more. Who wouldn't want to miss a legendary concert like this? We will be going to their concert in Dallas, Texas. It's a four hour drive from where Alyssa lives in San Antonio, but she told me it's worth it. I landed in San Antonio, and Alyssa waits for me at the airport. I come out of the arrivals, and there she is.
"Ahh, Alyssa!" I exclaimed.
"Hey! It's you. Wow, I can't believe you're here bruh." Alyssa said.
"I know right. Wow, I'm actually in Texas. This is crazy." I said.
"Follow me, my parents are waiting." Alyssa said.
"Kay." I said.
We hug and start talking about random stuff. We are most excited about the concert. First time meeting and we're already going to a concert together. I call that friendship goals.

Alyssa's parents take me to their house, and it's lovely. Alyssa leads me to her room where I'll be staying with her. For someone who doesn't have siblings, she treats me as sort of an older sister. We're only a year apart. She starts blasting her K-pop playlist and dancing all over the place. Sounds like something she would do. I am already laughing so hard. I do that thing when I laugh hard, I also clap. I sing along to the songs.
"Oh, I got you something, by the way. To celebrate meeting for the first time, here is CRAVITY'S album; Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are." Alyssa said, handing it to me.
"Oh, wow. You didn't have to get me this." I said, "Woah, is this all three versions?"
"Yup. I got myself some too. We're going there and we're getting autographs." Alyssa said.
"Yes, I'm so excited!" I exclaimed.
We squel with excitement. I'm sure Alyssa's parents are used to this at this point. It's really funny hearing fangirls from an outside perspective.

Most of the night, we just hung out and became best friends. We're so happy to be meeting each other in person. Then, that next day, we headed out to Dallas for our epic concert and fan meet. Alyssa has no idea how much I had to save up just so both of us could go to this concert and actually have decent seats. Good thing the fan sign was a win of a competition sort of thing, or I would literally be broke. Once arriving to the venue in Dallas, since being summer, it's so hot, but we have to wait in line anyways.
"It's so hot out here, Alyssa." I said.
"Pfft, I'm used to this." Alyssa said.
"I know. It rarely gets over 100° where I'm from." I complained.
"Well, welcome to Texas." Alyssa said.
"Thanks." I said sarcastically.

We finally get into the venue and the air conditioning feels so nice. I'm glad that this concert is going to be inside. The only people sweating tonight is going to be CRAVITY & Monsta X. We head to the fan sign first. They always have it before the concert. We walk into the fan sign room and there is already a long line. This is annoying, but time to get some patience. Alyssa and I wait in line to meet the beautiful and handsome CRAVITY. Seeing them in real life, they are way more attractive. Pictures don't do them enough justice. We reach the front of the line, and I greet my bias first, Jungmo.
"Hey, Jungmo. I literally love you so much." I said.
"I love you too." Jungmo said.
"Will you sign my album for me?" I asked.
"Of course." Jungmo said with a cute smile.
"Great, thanks so much." I said.

I watch him sign his beautiful, but a bit messy, signature on my album. I want to spray my album with protective spray so that these signatures won't rub off. I go to the rest of the members, greeting them the same. I honestly love them all, I just love Jungmo a little bit more. When we finish meeting CRAVITY, Monsta X walk in to surprise us. We were some of the last people, so they wanted to make it fun.
"Hoo! Hello, we are Monsta X!" Monsta X exclaimed in unison.
"Oh my God, no way." I said, jaw dropped, "I.M, I love you."
"Bro!!" Alyssa said, pointing at them. As if they weren't real.
Whenever I see Joohoney now, all I can think of is his look in Fantasia where he dressed as a bougie cowboy. It makes me laugh every time. We meet Monsta X and take the most adorable selfies.

On our way out, three members stop Alyssa and I; Heongjun, Minhee, and Seongmin. Seongmin secretly asked for my Kakao Talk ID. I happily agreed to have Seongmin's contact. He hugs me before we leave. As for Alyssa, well it looks as though Heongjun and Minhee are both hitting her up. Looks like their asking if she has Kakao. She forgot her password, so she doesn't use it anymore. Then, they asked for her Line. She didn't have that either, so just for them, she created a new Kakao Talk account. It's cute that those two members are kind of flirting with Alyssa, but I'm lowkey jealous. I only had one member approach me, which is still unbelievable. If they're rookies, they shouldn't risk dating. I guess, if this is what they want, then it's worth the risk.

Alyssa and I begin walking to our seats and Alyssa can't stop talking about how her bias and her second bias had just done that.
"I can't believe it either. The maknae of all members." I said.
"Does this mean we're going to date idols?" Alyssa asked.
"Girl, we both know what we're getting into if we do it." I said.
"Oh, whatever. It's only chance we have." Alyssa said.
"I guess you're right." I said.
We find our seats in the stadium and sing along to the songs they play for intermission. We are waiting for Monsta X to open the concert.
