The next day, Emily was at school replacing her books and notebooks for the next subject during her lunch break. But before she was done, there was a ping on the speakers and the voice of the principal spoke through the speakers.
"Paging Emily Lilith Molina, please come to the principal's office immediately."
Confused, Emily quickly placed her books for the next subject into her bag and shoved it inside her locker and closed it before she walked towards the office. When she went inside, she saw the principal sitting behind the desk. What's more, is that someone else was in the room. It was Rebecca and she was sitting on a chair in front of the principal.
The principal saw Emily enter the room, "Ah, you're here. Please take a seat." she said,
Emily obeyed and sat on a chair across Rebecca, and asked, "What's the situation, ma'am?"
"Why don't you tell me about it yourself?" the principal replied,
Emily was confused, "What are you talking about? Also, why is she here?" she asked pointing to Rebecca.
"Rebecca, here, said that you stole something that belongs to her." The principal answered,
"I didn't steal anything, ma'am," Emily said,
"Uh, yeah you did." Rebecca chimed in, "You stole my brooch."
"What does it look like by the way?" the principal asked,
Rebecca took out her phone and showed her a photo, "It had a red gem on the center," she stated,
"Mhmmm." The principal muttered then shifted her gaze at Emily, "Does this ring any bell?"
"I don't remember stealing anything, ma'am," Emily spoke,
Rebecca scoffed, "You're wearing it right now!" she said pointing to the brooch that is on Emily's jacket.
"Who said it was yours, to begin with?" Emily said, "Also, you tried to steal this away from me."
"Enough, you two." The principal said, "Young lady if you don't return what you stole, I'm afraid that I'll have to expel you from this school."
"What!?" Emily exclaimed, "But I didn't ---"
"However, I will give you the benefit of the doubt. I called your parents. They should be here by now." The principal said,
Rebecca's eyes widened, "Wait, what?"
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Knock Knock.
"Come in." The principal called out,
