Ninjago Fanfic: DragonFlame - The Tales of Two Elementals

Ch.1 Humble Beginnings

We open up on a sunny day in Ninjago, the birds are chirping, children are playing, and the sounds of intense training combat can be heard.

"Faster!, you'll never beat the murderer if you can't move with the shadows!" Kai Lloyd and Koda were training at the center area of the monastery.

Koda grunted and tried to strike faster, but his speed wasn't enough, instead he met the bottom of Lloyd's shoe.

"OW!" Koda fell to the ground and took off his glasses, making sure nothing broke off into his eye.

Kai set down his Katana as Lloyd had a slight smirk but was worried, "You good dude?" he held out his hand to help Koda up.

As Koda stood up Jay and Cole busted into the training area, "Guys Guys Guys!!"

The three turned to look at Jay

"What is it Zappy? We're training Koda." Kai plunged his katana into the ground and leaned on it.

"Oh nothing, just thought you'd like to know that our newer recruit is on her way." he smiled.

If not a coincidence the doorbell to the monastery rang.

"That must be her.. Kai no flirting." Lloyd glared at the red ninja.

Kai sighed and put away his cologne, "fiiiine."

The doors swung open and Koda's eyes immediately saw her, her long brown hair flew in the wind as her Purple Gi flapped slowly.

Lloyd approached her, "You must be Silvia, welcome to the Monastery."

Silvia smiled and walked in, "Thank you for having me.."

"My name is Lloyd, this is Cole, Master of earth." he pointed to Cole who waved.

Kai slid up next to her, "My name is Kai, rhymes with Fly." he had slicked back Hair which reeked of overused Hair gel.

Jay dragged Kai away, "Sorry about him, he's not the brightest."

"So I'm guessing he's the pesky bug one?"

The rest of the ninja nodded in response.

"Oh. and that's Koda, he's also a new member of the team." Lloyd pointed to a semi blushing Koda who was shaking ever so slightly.

"H-Hello there..." he weakly waved to Silvia.

Siliva didn't take note of this, yet let the others lead her to her new room.

"Bro, chill the heck out, it's just a girl." Kai gently slapped Koda's back.

Cole rolled his eyes, "Lay off the little dude. Can't you see he's got it bad for her?"

"B-bad? G-G-Got it?" Koda stuttered. Trying to hide his feelings.

Kai smirked, "Don't break a sweat. Kai man's got this." he had a smug look on his face.

"Yea..if he wants to scare her off. If he really does like her then he's got this, it'll be easy peasy lemon pie squeezy." Cole licked his lips at the mention of Pie.

Koda chuckled and the three walked in, heading for Koda's room.

"Goodnight guys." he waved by just before spotting Silvia leaving the room next to him, making him blush hard.

"Hmm?" Silvia looked over to see nothing, she shrugged it off and headed into her own room, closing the door.

Koda stood by his own door and gulped, "How am i supposed to do this? I'm a nobody..." he thought to himself as he plopped down onto his bed.

As the ninja set up the dinner they saw two empty seats

Nya looked at them, then to Jay. "Where are they?"

"Logic is, they are in their own rooms, seeing as She isn't used to us or the monastery she'll want to get more acquainted with her room."

"And Koda?" Nya raised an eyebrow.

"That..i am unsure about." Zane sat down and took his infamous pink apron off.

Jay piled a plate up and smiled, "Oh well more for us!"

Sensei Wu slapped Kai's hand as it reached for the pie first, "No Kai, treat your body like a temple. We don't want a repeat do we?"

"No sensei..." instead he got the rest of the food, frowning as it wasn't pleasing enough to post to his instagram fans.

We go back to Silvia's room, she has just finished setting it up as she likes.

Koda waited outside her room, debating on knocking or not. He accidentally hit the door and panicked.

Silvia opened the door to see...Nothing!, she shrugged and closed it back.

Koda was breathing heavily before he sighed and face planted into his bed. "Why does love have to be so hard...?"

The camera pans onto the two's faces as they speak in unison

"Today was a very interesting day."
