4 weeks later

Marinette had been happier that month than she had been in the past two years. She loved the AES students, and her gang got along well with them.

Luka and Adrien were surprisingly close to Amy. She treated them like little brothers, even though Luka was older. Adrien loved the attention she was giving him, and he bonded well with Luke too.

She noticed that Luke and Amy were inseperable, and Luke was the most affectionate in their relationship. But Amy, when giving affection, would be very gentle and surprisingly huge with it.

Chloe had bonded with Piper, liking her no-nonsense yet fun personality. Marinette herself had bonded with Percy. He always found a way to lighten the atmosphere. And Leo. Despite being the trouble maker of the group, he would always lift everyone's spirits.

Kagami spent more time with Thalia than most of the others. Both had a sense of justice, and a sense of superiority. Despite Thalia being a rebel.

Now that she thought about it, Annabeth would lead part of the group, and Amy and Percy usually led the other part together. It was weird.

Because of this development, Marinette had gained some of her self-confidence, and could easily stand against one or two of her classmates. Excluding Alya and Lila.

It was the week-end, and Amy's gang (excluding Annabeth) was hanging out with the MPS squad. Chloe had built up the courage to ask them the question that had been nagging her friends the whole time.

"Why don't you hang out with your other cousins and friends?"

They paled considerably, and Bianca and Luke inched towards Amy, while Nico and Thalia hovered around Percy protectively.

"I mean you don't have to tell us it's just that we noticed you all acting different around them and sometimes they mention something and then you glare at them and Amy is more closed off around then but like I said you don't have to tell us it's just that we're curious?" Marinette rambled.

Percy laughed, breaking the tense atmosphere.

"Wow Mari how do you say that in one breath?" He asked.

She blushed in embarrassment, and tried to tell something when the alarms blared off. Percy and Amy groaned.

"I swear to the gods this stupid villain has no other job than ruining someone's day. Doesn't he ever like...run out of butterflies? " Percy asked, making everyone crack up.

Kagami nudged Marinette, widening her eyes fractionally.

"Wait... OH MY GODS EVERYONE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW!!!" Nico shouted, scrambling up.

They soon realised why. A huge tidal wave was rearing up on the street across.

The MPS squad broke from the AES, as they sprinted in opposite directions.

Amy and Percy immediately MM'ed everyone.

Guys. I have a feeling this will be the worst akuma yet. Amy and I are going to help them. Percy thought.

What if you expose us? Annabeth thought.

Then we will have to explain to them. Besides, Tikki and Plagg, their kwamis are not what they seem. I have my suspicions. Amy thought back.

There was a brief silence, before Nico thought.

As long as it doesn't blow up to a catastrophe, I'm fine. Now, I'm off to higher grounds. Water and I DO NOT mix.
