Proposal

Elena sat at the table quietly scrolling through her phone, "DAMON!"she shouted "can you quiet down i can hear you from all the way across the house," she asked. "OK BABY!" he yelled across the house. Elena shook her head. 

In Damons room:

Damon was rustling through his draw frantically trying to find something in his underwear drawer as usual. Stefan walks into the room, "Damon what the hell are you doing?" he questioned. "I'm looking for your sense of humor little brother," he responded. "No, come on i'm serious what are you doing your making a mess of your entire room what are you even looking for anyways?" said Stefan. Damon walks over to his bathroom and turns the tap on."Im trying to find the ring im gonna propose to elena with," Damon whispered. "Oh ok, need some help?" Stefan responded.

Later that day:
(on the phone to elena) 

Damon: hey 

Elena: hey whats up

Damon: I have something to show you 

Elena: ok where should i meet you?

Damon: you know where we first met near the falls?

Elena: yeah 

Damon: ok meet me there soon 

Elena: ok bye love you

Damon: I love you too 

At the place they first met:

Damon stood in the middle of the street waiting for Elena to arrive, suddenly he hears a car behind him and quickly turns around to see Elena parking her car. She gets out and runs over to him. "Hey babe what did you want to tell me and why here couldn't we have done this at home?" she questioned. Damon was obviously nervous even though he had already promised Elena they would take the cure together and knew she would most likely say yes. " ok ill show you in a second but let me tell you something first." he said. "ok" she answered. "You are by far the greatest thing i have ever in all of my 173 years on this earth, i get to walk around knowing i'm loved by you, when we first met as soon as i laid eyes on you i knew i had to make it my lifes mission to get to know you elena gilbert." " And everyone of those ups and downs we had has just made me love you more and more." " now before i show you i want you to close your eyes so it doesnt ruin the suprise" he asked her. Elena closed her eyes while Damon got down on one knee and pulled the ring out of his leather jacket. " you can open your eyes now." he said. Elena slowly opened her eyes and a tear trickled down her face "omg" she said looking shocked. "Elena Marie Gilbert will you marry me?" he said with a big smile on his face. "Yes!" she replied with tears streaming all down her face. Damon stood up and helped put the ring on her finger and they kissed.
