We walked through the door to be welcomed by loud thumping music. Finally fucking party time, I naturally gravitated towards the bar where all the alcohol was. What can I say? I came here to get drunk not to sit around and gawk.
"Really viv? Already?" Kinsley sighed "We've not been here two minutes and you're already thinking about getting drunk?"
I rolled my eyes she knew me too well, yes she's my best friend but sometimes I want to soccer punch that motherfucker in the face you know? She's the only one that I can tolerate to tell me what to do, I know she wants what's best for me so I order some fresh lemonade and vodka instead of the two double vodka shots I was thinking.
"Thank you" Kinsley smiles "we came here to start fresh, make some friends remember? Not be known as the girl who can't handle her alcohol okay?"
I nodded not wanting to argue, she's right after all. Ever since we've moved out of town last week we haven't managed to meet one person. Except for our creepy landlord and I don't think we'll be hanging out with him anytime soon...
The dance floor was filled with so many different people, tall, short, glammed up not glammed up so many different people with stories to tell.
Kinsley side eyed me, "You good? You're usually on the dance floor by now" She smirked as she sipped her bottle of beer.
"You're disgusting that tastes like ass mixed with fizzy water. Besides I'm not drunk enough yet" I scoffed.
We sat and chatted for a while at the bar when a lady came over to order her drink. I sat and looked at her in awe, she had long thick brown hair with the most amazing brown eyes that sparkled with the lights.
She caught me off guard and turned to face me, she must've seen me staring at her, her hand extended towards me and I shook it "I'm Aria" she then took Kinsleys hand and shook hers too "I haven't seen you guys around here before, are you new?" She smiled.
"Yeah we moved here last week, how did you know?" Kinsley smiled back.
Aria shrugged her shoulders "You're fresh meat, be careful the guys here are just looking for a fuck and duck, I'll see you around" with that she grabbed her drink and went back to the table she was sitting at. Me and Kins looked at each other and smiled, this is going to be a long night...
