Dance Teacher: Hello Little girl, what's your name and are you joining the group?
Mia: Good afternoon Miss, my name is Mia and yes, I am joining the group.
Dance Teacher: Excellent! I am your dance teacher, Miss Williams. Welcome to the dance group Mia.
Mia: Thank you Miss Williams
Miss Williams: The pleasure is mine. Everyone, meet the newest member of our group, Mia! Give her a warm welcome.
All: [chanting] Dancers! Dancers! we were four! Dancers! Dancers! now we've got one more!
Mia: Thank you
Miss Williams: Okay now, it's time for our warm up routine before the real lesson begins! Dancers formation!
Stephanie: [sights Mia] Mia, you are in the dance group? Wow! That's great! Have you seen Lila? She's supposed to be here.
Lila: [enters the hall] I am.... Oh! Mia's in the group? What a surprise!
Miss Williams: Yes she is. You know her? [Lila nods]. Good, Mia, Lila is the beat dancer in the group [Lila nods] and she would be glad to give you some pointers, won't you Lila?
Lila: actually I...
Miss Williams: Very good, make sure you teach her the routine we have been working on, okay?
Lila: 😒Okay..
Mia: Yay! I am going to be learning from the best!
They finish up the warm up exercises and begin the main routine. Mia does not participate because she doesn't know it but Lila is going to teach her the routine and by Monday as the teacher says, Mia should know the routine very well. The bell rings for closing time and they end their lesson.
Miss Williams: Bye children, have a nice day. Oh and Lila, don't forget to teach Mia the routine by Monday!
Lila: [silently] Trust me, it's hard to forget.
Mia: [approaches Lila] Thanks for volunteering to teach me, so when do I start?
Lila: Tomorrow
Mia: Okay, can't wait
