Alexa parted her eyes, shyly at Jake. She cared about him ever so delicately.

Love seemed to filter their minds.

This time, Alexa opened her eyes. She jumped up and crossed a day off on her calendar.

Hayden sat on her bed, pulling Alexa's hair back.

He fumbled with a strand.

" What are you doing?" Alexa crossed her arms.

" Getting you ready for school" Hayden replied.

" OK!" Alexa danced around.

Ever since Hayden, Alexa's friend, had moved in, he would try to coax Alexa to be with him.

There was a delicate bond between them that only Jake and Hayden had with her.

" Ready" he called.

Alexa picked up her bag and was pushed out the door.
