Break the endless curse

Chapter VIII

<Diane's POV>

I just woke up early in the morning, although it is normal for us to get up at 5am

I gave King a little kiss on the forehead and stood up. When I arrived downstairs I was not greeted by a single person, because it was nobody there.

Just as I was about to look, Elaine came down to me

"Good morning Diane" she smiled at me
And likewise replied it

"Diane do you know where Ban is? When I woke up, the bed was empty" she said, so he's actually not there?

"Oh, so you wanted to get up with him?" I waggled my eyebrows, with a grin

"D-Diane!" She just stuttered back, making me laugh

"No, I already thought it was very quiet here" this time I made a better answer than before

And just on a cue King came down

He looked around

"Where are Ban and Captain? Aren't they usually here earlier? Oh and good morning" he said while still looking around until he turned to us

"If I knew, I would tell you, I just went downstairs too, and Elaine told me Ban wasn't in bed either, I'll see after Captain" I said to them as I went upstairs the fairies were waiting downstairs talking about something I couldn't hear

When I reached the room of the Princess and the Captain, I knocked

I was welcomed with a tired Elizabeth

"Good morning, Diane, you need anything?" She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and yawned once very briefly

"Good morning to you too, could you wake up the Captain?

She gave me a nod and told me to wait a moment, and she closed the door

When the door opened again after a second, I looked at the princess, and knew only by her look that he was not here either

"He's not here. Isn't he downstairs already?" She asked

I gave her a head shake in response

"Wait a minute, I'll get changed and come downstairs with you."

I just nodded

I heard only the cupboard rummage through and after a not too long time, the door opened again and uncovered a princess in a dress

It was a yellow dress, that went apart at her waist, at the end and beginning of the dress there were white flowers

I gave her a compliment, which made her blush and turn away

When we were downstairs, Elizabeth was greeted by others and greeted back

"The Captain wasn't here" I said.

"How can Ban be so mean and just not be around to make me leftovers?" Hawk was angry and sad at the same time when he said that

"I'd say we're looking for them, right?" King suggested

I just gave a nod
"These two can take care of themselves, but making sure doesn't hurt" I smiled

We split up, Elizabeth and Elaine stayed at the tavern in case they came back, and the three of us, King, Hawk and I decided that it would be better not to split up

After about 10 minutes I saw something behind a bush

"I found them both!" I also showed them, which made my gaze wander
