A note from Stephanie about playing it cool

I know you shouldn't brag, but I really wanted to impress Michael, the cool new boy in school. He just moved here from Los Angeles and he knows tons of famous people. So naturally, I told him I know famous people to like a rock group that would write a special song for our school video project. The only trouble is, I don't know any famous rock groups! And there isn't any special song. Soon Michael and everyone in school will think I'm the most uncool kid around. How will I ever get out of this mess?

But enough about my problems. Let me tell you about something that isn't a problem, like my family. My very big family.

Right now there are nine people and a dog living in our house and for all I know, someone new could move in at any time. There's me, my big sister, DJ, my little sister, Michelle, and my dad, Danny. But that's just the beginning.

Uncle Jesse came first. My dad asked him to come live with us when my mom died, to help take care of me and my sisters.

Back then, Uncle Jesse didn't know much about taking care of three little girls. He was more into rock and roll. So dad asked his old College buddy, Joey Gladstone, to help out. Joey didn't know anything about kids, either but it sure was funny watching him learn!

Having Uncle Jesse and Joey around was like having three dads instead of one! But then something even better happened Uncle Jesse fell in love. He married Becky Donaldson, dad's co-host on his TV show, Wake Up San Francisco. Aunt Becky's so nice she's more like a big sister than an aunt.

Next Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky had twin baby boys. Their names are Nicky and Alex, and they are adorable!

I love being part of a big family. Still, things can get pretty crazy when you live in such a full house!
