We grab onto the railing and climb over then start walking when it was safe I sigh with relief. "Steve what did Peggy mean by being careful because of what coming next" I whispered Steve looks at me but doesn't say anything I frown. we look around we stop at the bombs there are three of them Boston Chicago and New York, oh heck no not our home. we hear footsteps heading our way Steve and I hide hanging up high when the agent comes we both swing and kick him off the plane hearing his distant screams. land on our feet and continue down the walk way then the soldier that was behind the first one we kick off look at us and charge at us.
we get into fight mode and start to fight them after killing one the other gets away but Steve grabs his knife and throws it at him making him fall onto one of the bombs one of the agents tries to get away with a bomb but I press a button on the panel and let it go the agent hold on for dear life I walk over to him "if my husband couldn't survive then you won't" I whispered kicking his fingers and he falls screams. we start to fight more Steve grabs one and throws him out of the plane one of them gets into a bomb Steve notices and jumps on it about to hit it another agent climbs on top of him and the bomb fall and steve goes with it.
"No!" I yelled agent charge I do the same jumping up and wrapping my legs around his neck and snapping its neck making them fall beneath me. Steve comes back and crashes the bomb into the plane I dodge it falling to my side "you okay" Steve stands me to my feet and grabs his shield "yeah let's go avenge our best friend". We get to the captain's quarters looking around red skull is nowhere in sight I frown we slowly walk in hold our weapons to the ready. Steve and I get to the captain's chair but he's not there either then Steve gasps grabbing me and covering us with the shield and get blasted to the ground. I groan in pain I get up standing next to Steve's side "you don't give up do you!" red skull yells "nope!" Steve yells back and we run to him dodging his blasts on the way.
All three of us start fighting shooting him but he dodges the bullets red skull grabs my neck and punches my face and kicks Steve's ground and kicks him in the stomach. I growl and charge at him punching him in the face and stomach but he flings me against a wall and I slide to the ground crawling into a ball wrapping my arms around my legs, what happening to me why am I chickening out. Steve puts him in a choke hold everything becomes numb everything becomes silent but only my mind isn't 'be careful because of what comes next, you need to be'. the plane jolts forward bringing my body that way as well red skull and Steve continue to fight 'I love you always Mrs. Barnes' Steve gets kicked towards me "Elizabeth!" Steve yelled 'Be careful, Be careful, Be careful, I'm pregnant, my eyes widen. all of a sudden we all get slammed to the ground with a groan I take a deep breath I stand with steve hiding with him and looking at him he has a gun in his hand.
"You could have the powers of the gods!" he shoots at us but we dodge it "I bet you're afraid of it and fought with the battle of the nations" We continue to move as he shoots at us. " I've seen the future captain...no strides" he yells and shoots at us again but we dodge it "not my future!" steve yelled and we jump and he grabs his shield throwing it at him and he hits the power converter breaking it a bright blue cube slides out. "what have you done" red skull slowly grabs it and it lights up a few times then shows the Galaxy above us. he smiles then frowns as it starts to deteriorate his skin and he starts to scream.
Steve covers us from the brightness making a big boom as he fully disappears the cube fall and starts to melt the metal beneath it falling to the waters below Steve picks up his shield. "are you okay" I nod frowning putting my hand on my belly "that's why she said to be careful Elizabeth" Steve stated. I look at him removing my hand and we walk to the captain's chair it's still heading to New York "come in Captain rogers- Steve are you guys alright" Peggy asked I sigh of relief "Peggy sch is dead" Steve presses some buttons. "was that the plane" Peggy asked "that's a little tougher then I can explain" Steve replied looking around "tell me your coordinates, ill give you a good landing sight" Peggy stated. we look and only two jets are functional "there's not any way to get out of this" Steve frowns "I know" he replied "there's not going to be a safe landing but I can try forcing it down" my heart begins race "ill-ill-ill put Howard on the line hell know what to do" she stated with worry in her tone.
Steve pulls out his compass and puts it in front of him opening it there's a picture of Peggy I frown. "there's not enough time this thing is moving fast and heading for New York... I got to put her in the water" I instantly look at Steve with tears in my eyes and I slide my hand onto my stomach, I'm sorry I didn't get to see you grow up. "please don't do this w-we have time we can work this out" Peggy stated with a crack in her voice. "right now we're in the middle of nowhere if I wait any longer people will die" Steve replied staring in front of us same with me.
"Peggy this is our choice" there's silence we start to go down, I love you Bucky well see each other soon and our baby. "Peggy" Steve whispered, "I'm here" she replied, "I'm gonna have to have a rain check on that dance" Steve stated, "alright" she replied, "Peggy...thank you for being such a great friend... you're a sister I wish I had" she sniffs and laughs I smile. "and I you Mrs. Barnes" she stated "a week next Saturday at the stock club" she stated towards Steve "you got it" I frown more letting the tears fall down my cheeks. "on the dot, not a minute after 8, understood" she replied I hug Steve's neck and he some walk hugs me back "I love you Stevie" I let go " you know I still don't know how to dance" Steve stated.
"ill show you how just be there" she replied "ill have the band play something slow" the ground becomes closer and closer all of Bucky and I's memories come to my head I smile. " id hates to step on your feet" we hit the ground and the mixer of ice and glass punctures my chest making me gasp for air then everything becomes...
