Chapter 9

After explaining Everything to him he stood there for awhile with a glazed over look before snapping out of it and looking at us. "You two can stay shes gonna need training if shes gonna survive the people that are hunting her. You lucked out not only did you manage to stumble into a large pack but also one that still practices the old way so we tend to be a lot stronger than others. You both are gonna have to go through training Mrs.Kendra you are human so you can't go through most of our training but you wouldn't be the first human we have trained many of our people have taken human spouses. And we trained then in weapons and some hand to hand combat. Though Amara here is gonna have a lot of catching up to do since she just now learned what she is. But the both of you should be a lot safer in the pack then on the out skirts of it. How do you feel about moving." I looked at Amara she just shrugged her shoulders at me like she didn't really care either way. I looked back over to the man and the wolves around him Narrowing my eyes at him. "Why help us what do you get out of it? " "I Don't like senseless killing and i feel like in the future this may help to form a alliance that will benefit us both." I nodded at him "so may i get your'e name? " He nodded it's "Conor , Alpha Conor . When we are in front of other Alphas of other pack but around our grounds you can call me Conor like everyone else." "OK thank you Conor we appreciate this so much"

After our meeting with Conor we walked with them back to were the pack was located and where everyone mostly lived. I noticed it would have been hard to find just walking and there was only one road in. After them showing us to his house so he could go through the papers to see what house would best work for us. After that was decide we were shown to the house after looking around it wasn't much different to the cottage we where in already. With in a week all our stuff had been moved into the new house and we had unpacked most of it putting it up much like our old home. Amara had already started some of her training which was learning about werewolves and all the stuff she had missed out on growing up. She would tell me about the stuff she learned when she came home. Tomorrow marks the day when i start my training and since we moved i started volunteering at the pack hospital trying to at least be some help to them for taking us in and learning how to adopt my knowledge to their kind. Which wasn't much different other than medicine dosage. In the morning i got ready. Who would have though that at my age i would have to learn how to fight werewolves.  As i made my way to the gym and training ground I saw Conor sitting watching everyone's training i walked up to him. " So I never got to thank you properly for letting me and Amara stay here.  Or the real reason on why you let us stay here?" He smiled it wont be much longer before my pack has to relocate there isnt much forest here and we are steadly growing at some point we will have to leave. I think its time i tell you more about our kind an more about what Amara is in our world. Amara is what you would call an alpha wolf meaning that she will run a pack when she gets older. She will have complete control over all the wolves there. As i am an alpha wolf i have control over my pack and make the important decisions think of it like a company and im the boss. i nodded i get that but what does that have to do with all this.  well as an alpha normally the pack is transfered over to our children when they are ready. but i have none i can officially adopt in amara as my daughter with her being alpha blood when she turns twenty normaly its eighteen but seeing how she just found out about her kind it may be best to do those extra two years, I nodded" i got you so is that why they dropped her off on a door step cause she would be able to take over the pack in the future and the man that broke into my house was looking for her because she is the only one who could take control from him when she turns eighteen." He nodded again and gave me a tight smile "more than likely when she becomes the alpha here she will aslo become their alpha again." i heaved a smile an nodded leaving his office with a heavy heart and way more to think about then i thought possible. i walked back to our new cottage hoping that Amara would be there. Now i knew the real reason why she was dropped off at my door. Once inside i set her down to talk more about what  Connor had said and now what i knew about her parents and why we had moved. To say that she wasn't happy would of been an understatement. But now that we knew we also had a plan i would work on my skills trying to make myself less of a liability to my daughter and she would work towards being the best alpha that she could be which meant she would have to make some sacrafices in her social life and so would i but we could do this so we could go back home again.
