chapter 1 New

Becca's POV

Walking home slowly feeling so tired after another long day at school and work. I live downtown which is very far from where I work. I do two jobs by the way as a chef in a very fancy restaurant during the day and as a waitress. finally getting home I unlock the door and get in after taking a long shower I head straight to bed.
"Hugh" I groan  internally "this alarm won't just stop sounding" I say hitting it.oh it's morning I jump up I have a test this morning I rush to the bathroom did my business and wore my uniform I still have to walk to school which is just a 5minutes walk.

So I am Rebecca Benson my dad is the owner of the Benson's Enterprise which he acquired after getting married to Elizabeth Wires who comes from a very wealthy family.her parents died leaving her with all their properties and companies which my dad now controls since her only interest is in fashion and traveling.
My mom is still with her brother's hospital,she's been ill for 3years now I was with her there for 6months but my uncle brought me back 2 years ago saying I should stay over here and go to school and that She'll be fine.I still visit her most times.after my dad left us to remarry she lost herself, but kept staying strong for us me and my older brother but months later she started suffering from stroke her brother took to his hospital and she's been there since while my brother now lives with my grandma in a small town. I was with my dad for sometime but his wife didn't want me there so they kicked me out I've been on my own since then.
Its time for lunch and I'm sitting at the cafeteria eating with my friend Kate who's rambling about the new cute boy in our class.
"Do you know he has a tattoo on his chest" she said squealing. I rolled my eyes at her "and how did you know have you seen his bare chest" yes I saw him running this morning and much skin was visible you needed to his body and his eyes God his eyes" she said dreamingly. I mentally face palmed and the bell rung "oh thank God let's go to class before you finish my ears with your boy talk" we stood up walking to class "umm Kate I'll meet you in class I need to use the restroom" I said "ok see you in class then" she said walking off I was halfway down the hall before I bumped into someone "what the hell!!jeez watch where you're going" I yelled without looking up and matched off.
"Why do you look like you had a fight with someone" Kate asked when I got to class "because I did,well not really one annoying dude bumped into me" I said while she said sorry looking around the class. "Seems like you're looking for someone? I asked raising a brow. "I haven't seen Derek in class I wonder where he is" she said still looking. Derek I thought to myself "and who's Derek? She looked at me like I was crazy Derek the new cuuuute guy she said dragging the cute..oh the one everyone's been talking about well whatever.
I thought gathering my books since class is over I need to go home change and go for my shift...

OK so this is literally my first book
They're mistakes and all but I can assure you its gonna be an amazing journey
