Solecism (Aversion Series #1)

Prologue

"Laura Hale, can do a pose with your hands behind your neck?"

I just did what the photographer told me. I was wearing a swimsuit to promote the brand of it on social media platforms. It was the last pose that I made for them, I had to do a quick change. I took my bikini off and wore a fitted maroon dress layered it with crop denim jacket. I tied up my long curly hair. I thanked all of them before I leave. It's already 5pm and I haven't eaten dinner yet.

I put my bag full of swimsuits, bodysuit at the back seat of my car. I immediately drove back to my condo to take a shower and watch Netflix while eating dinner. I got tired watching, only to turned off the tv. While laying on bed I got a phone call from my brother.

"What's with the call? What do you need?" I answered fast. Alam ko na pag tumatawag siya he needed me. I mean, to lean on his big sister.

[Ito naman hindi ba pwedeng miss lang kita big sis] He answered using his cute voice. [Are you busy?...] Lucas asked, out of nowhere.
 

"Uhm, no... not really," I told him the truth. "I'm about to sleep and tumawag ka"

[Ahm... I do have an art exhibition this upcoming Saturday...] I suddenly look at my calendar, today is Thursday and I do have a photoshoot on Friday after lunch, and I need to post a picture on Instagram. So hopefully there is none collaboration on branding the day after tomorrow.

"And then..."

[I wonder if you could come... to support me?] his voice change to low monotone.

"Oh sure! anything for my baby brother!" I answered fast with excitement. "Dapat sinabi mo agad, pabebe ka pa dyan" I teased him. He is two years younger than mine. He's gonna turn 20 this year. Oh my god! years went so fast.

[Really big sis? Thank you. Thank you so much ate. I love you] He answered with so much excitement on his voice.

"Just text me what time and where's the location, okay goodnight, big sis loves you" I answered to assure him that I will be there. I ended the call and he immediately text the location it was around on Katipunan.

The next day, I woke up around 8am. Doing my everyday routine, after I brushed my teeth. I just drink tea, and make sandwich. It's kinda late to do some workout here at this building. Konti lang yung gumagamit ng gym dito sa condo, lalo na kapag friday.

After doing my full-body fat burn workout. I came back to my unit. Took a shower and when I opened the refrigerator I ran out of food stock. Puro cup of noodles nalang natira. I badly need to grocery. But it's already 12pm I had to go for a brand shoot after lunch.
