Ch7

Jimin woke up to a splitting headache and a sore neck, which was due to sleeping on a couch without a proper pillow. He had sat on the couch wondering why he was here. And as the events of last night came back to him, he threw his head into his palms with a groan.

Hoseok had avoided him the whole morning. Jimin had decided to use the spare bathroom, and when he came out, Hoseok was already in the kitchen making breakfast. Jimin took the opportunity to go into the bedroom and get his clothes. By the time he got out, hobi was in front of the TV watching animal planet. Something he did when he wasn't in a good mood.

'Male lions may get all of the attention with their majestic manes, but the females do the majority of the work when it comes to hunting. Anywhere from 85-90% of the hunting is done by the females in a given pride.' said the british voice on the TV. Hoseok stared at his coffee and stirred the spoon in the mug everytime Jimin tried to make eye contact.

Jimin had grabbed his breakfast, gotten his bag and once he was at the door, ready to leave, he looked at Hoseok one last time and sighed. "Hoseok, I'm sorry, I just don't know what to do." The other man had made no move to acknowledge him and left the room.

At the office, as soon as he had seen Jimin, and the absolute look of defeat on his face, his father had determined that Jimin had accepted his proposal. Mr.Park had informed Jimin that he has to meet Jungkook this weekend. When his sister asked him what it was about he told her.

Ji-yong roared "WHAT!? He can't do that! That's insane! What about Hoseok? What did he say-" But one look from his father and Jimin was forced to stop his sister from tearing down the office. She had blabbed at him in confusion. But the look on his face made her shut up with an angry grunt. she murmured under her breath 'I can't believe you're even thinking about doing this to him'.

When Jimin got home that night, Hoseok was once again, (or still) sitting on the sofa, now watching She-ra.

Jimin stood behind him and he saw Hoseok's shoulders tense. "I'm . . . Supposed to meet Jungkook...this weekend. I'm gonna try talking to him, try to convince him to call this off." Hoseok didn't say anything, but his jaw clenched and squeezed the throw pillow in his arms until his knuckles turned white. Jimin sighed.

It was late and he was tired. So Jimin grabbed some clothes and went to bed in the guest room, hoping he could talk to hoseok in the morning.

---

Jimin was not so lucky. Because the next morning, he found a note. The note read;

"I'm going to be staying with Yoongi for a few days.

-Hoseok"

"Fucking great." Said Jimin. He crumpled up the sticky note and chucked it across the room. This was not happening. Not again. He can't do this again.

Jimin didn't say anything earlier because he knew he shouldn't mess with Hoseok, especially when he was angry. He didn't want to repeat the same mistake. He didn't want to push him. But now he regrets not saying anything. If he had talked to him last night, or yesterday morning, or even went after him the day he had the fight, Hobi would still be here, with him.

Jimin harshly tugged at his silver hair, wanting to rip them out. If he could have just said something. He wouldn't be here, having to choose between his husband and.. and some random guy. Hoseok would have helped him, helped him think of something. He tried to. But Jimin shut him down. Regret was all he could feel.

Jimin groaned once more and stood up, kicking the kitchen stool. It fell to the floor with a bang. Jimin threw his head in his palms.

God. Why is this happening to him? But what was he supposed to do? He couldn't fight his father. I mean, Don't get him wrong. It wasn't because he has some sort of great love and respect for him.
