11. Roadtrip

”Grace, wake up” I heard Ashton yell and when I opened my eyes I could see him standing in my room. ”What do you want?” I said and dragged the covers over my head to keep the light from making me completely blind. I come up with a lie to skip school because I would Ashton would be a pain in the ass if I just stayed at home without any reason.

”Pack your bag, we’re going on a roadtrip” Ashton said and peeked out from under the cover. Did he really just agree on going away. I sat up in my bed and looked at him. ”What?” I said and a smile spread on my face. 

”You heard me, get ready” He said and leaved me in my room and I jumped out of bed. I took out my bad and emptied it with all the things. I put in some clothes, my charger, toilet articles, bikini, towel and other necessary stuff. I didn’t know what Ashton had planned so it was hard to pack. I didn’t even know how long we would be gone.  I got ready and went into my room to get my bag and get changed. I took of my shirt and put on my bra when I heard my door open.

”Gra-” I put my shirt in front of me to hide my chest from him, I turned around and saw Calum close the door. ”Shit sorry, Grace” I sad front he other side of the door. 

”No worries” I said to him, even though he got a good look of me butt, there was nothing I could do about it now. ”What did you want?” 

”Ash told me to get you, we’re ready to go” He said. And I opened the door, fully dressed this time and smirked at him and his cheeks changed into a shade of red.

”Let’s go then” I sad and took his arm and pulled him downstairs. We both put on our shoes and jackets and I took my bag in one hand and the house key in the other. Ashton honked from the outside and was ready to leave at any minute. Calum and I exited the house and I locked the door and hurried to the car. 

”Shotgun” I yelled and ran to the front seat, I could hear Calum groan but I didn’t care and I opened the door and met Ashtons happy face. ”Took you long enough” He said a bit jokey and I just fake laughed and hit him in the ribs with my elbow. When Calum and I was all buckled up Ashton took off. 

”So, where  are we going?” Calum said from the backseat. I actually wondered that myself. 

”We’re going to the beach” Ashton said proudly.

”What beach?” Calum asked and Ashton looked over to me and smiled widely and I could keep myself from copying his smile, because I knew exactly which beach we were going to. I turn to face Calum and he looked so confused. 

”When Ashton and I was little we used to go to this beach every summer and I became like a tradition for a couple of years, but we haven’t been there for like 5 years. It’s on the south coast and it’s like mine and Ashotns happy place.” I said and smiled and him and his confused face changed to his normal warm face.

”Oh, that sounds great.” He said and smiled at me and then looked at Ashton in the drivers mirror. 

”Yep” I said and turned my head around to face the road. ”How long are we going to be away? Did you bring a tent?”
