Lucas pov

My lunch date with Jay was in less than an hour and I couldn't be more nervous.

I asked ten and jaehyun to cover for me so I could spend a little longer with her.

Ten whined but jaehyun was happy to help me out.

"Can we at least see picture of this girl your taking out?," ten asked.
I open my Instagram and hit the search engine.
Jaehyun chuckled and I raised a brow.
"Her name is in your recent search history."
I blushed.

"What's wrong with you," doyoung said sipping his drink.
I grinned before motioning them to me.

I showed them one of the most recent pictures on her instagram.

I was a picture of her and her friends from the night at the club.

Her friends all stood behind her doing silly poses while she was crouched down in front of them pointing at her forearm.
Jaehyun let out a chuckle at the girls weirdness.

"Is she that one," he pointed to her black haired friend who I believed was jennie.

"Obviously not Jaehyun, he said she wasn't Korean," ten interrupted me.

I rolled my eyes before scrolling too another one of just her sitting outside at a coffee shop winking at the camera while holding down her sun glasses.

"This is Jay," I said showing them the picture.

They all let out gasps.

"Wow, She's gorgeous."
" Aw, she adorable."
"Oh dang, American girls be hitting different," of course ten said the last one.
I chuckled at ten but nodded.

"She's also older," doyoung had a smirk on his face.

"That's okay man, age isnt nothing but a number," I winked at the boys.

"Says everyone pedo ever," Jaehyun joked making everyone laugh.

"Yeah okay, I should probally get changed she'll be here soon," I waved to the boys and walked towards to the changing room.
"Alright I guess I'll go do my job," ten groaned dragging his feet to the front desk.
"We should go to." And with that we all parted.

Jay's pov

The lunch date (but not really a date, just two friends hanging out) went pretty nice.

Lucas and I went to see a movie, shopped at our local mall,and stopped for snacks.

I know that might not seem like to much fun, but trust me lucas is the life of a party and can make watching paint dry a rave.

We spent most of our time speaking in English since it was what we both were comfortable with. He even often to teach me his native tounge also.

Throughout our time together my phone was being blown up with texts from taehyung and yoongi asking what I was doing.

I said how I was hanging with a friend and didn't get much of a response from them.

Anyways, now back to present time in front of lisa and I's home.
"Thanks for lunch lucas but weren't you suppose to go back to work," I laughed.

He grinned at me.

"Nope the boys covered for me but now I owe them all favors," he giggled .

See lucas wasnt suppose to be off that early and actually planned on going back later but he somehow convinced ten to cover for him.

Boy was he never gonna hear the end of that story.
I rolled my eyes letting a chuckle out.

" okay, Mr. Casanova I should probally go inside before Lisa bites my head off," I said seeing how the curtains were moving slightly from the corner of my eye.

"Oh okay, um I had fun and would love to do this again," he gave me a slight smile rubbing the back of his head.

"Yes that would be awesome I love hanging out with my friends," I gave him a big smile bouncing on the heels of my feet.
"Yeah, me to heehee, I'll see you later," he gave me a quick hug and walked away.

'Um okay I guess,' I walked into my house.

Lucas's pov

Dang I know she didnt just put me in the friendzone like that.
Well time to go home and cry in my shower I guess.

Jay's pov

When I walked in the house I was greeted by my bestfriend sitting on the couch with yoongi and taehyung. All of them sitting crossed leg and their hands folded on their laps.

Behind them was a sign that said: "Welcome home you cheater."
What did I just walk into.

"I am very uncomfortable with the engry we have created in this room," I said trying to bolt to my room but only to be grabbed by Taehyung and launched on the couch.

"Dang Taehyung you didnt have to grab me like that, dang near broke my neck," I exclaimed rubbing the back of my neck.

"Yall gonna quick manhandling me before I call the authorities on yall."

"Jay-."
"Oh wait ACAB, cant do that."
"Jay listen-."

"Matter of fact I dont need them anyway let's go outside."
"Jay-wait go outside for what," tae asked me.

"We gonna fight."
"OH MY GOSH JUST LISTEN TO US," yoongi yelled frustrated with my rambling.
"okay, you didnt have to yell. I'm sensitive," I said pouting and slouching against the couch.

He rolled his eyes but patted my head and said sorry.

Lisa and Tae shared a look before sighing.
"Okay, now to the main point," lisa pulled put a white board.

"Wait where did you-."
" NO QUESTIONS," Lisa interrupted me.
Well dang, I'll shut up.
She smiled.

"Now, if you would look at the board you will see point A,-" she began with her presentation labeled: "Why we dont need friends" oh gosh.

Well I finally updated after like 2 years. Also I would like to point out that when I first made this book I was an awkward freshmen getting into kpop so dont roast me💀💀.
