it was now the last day of school before a 2 week long break and it has been a week since Jaune's mission with team RWBY. team RWBY have been doubting their decision to abandon Jaune since he could have quite easily let Yang get hurt by the grimm but he rushed in to save her and the rest of team RWBY. Yang had been feeling warmth in her chest every time she saw him while the rest have been beginning to respect him again. Ruby had been the first to apologize and after multiple attempts to get him to accept, Jaune had finally forgave her and their friendship was now back to how it was.
Jaune was inside his sanctuary in his master bedroom reading some of the sword skill books he had got but was legitimately reading it instead of absorbing. Jaune had also decided that he was going to upgrade his sanctuary with a few more rooms.

Jaune had decided that team RWBY was more important to saving Remnant than his former team. He had decided that since he was going to make nice with team RWBY and since he caught the eye of Yang he was going to make room for them at his sanctuary. Jaune then received a text from Ruby that she and her team wanted to see if he was going to have lunch with them. Jaune had decided to go eat with them at the school cafeteria.
Jaune had reached the cafeteria where he got his food and sat down before team RWBY sat with him 5 minutes later. Yang sat next to him on his right and Blake had sat by his left. Blake had saw how Jaune had treated the faunus students even some of the ones had treated him like dirt, he had treated them with respect, the ones who badmouthed them got their asses handed to them true, but he was kind to the faunus. Blake had learned from Velvet that he was the reason her and her team survived when their mission went to shit.
