The Stardust Crusaders

Note: This is a "What if?" scenario. I know it's not technically possible, but I just want to write about what could've been. Hope you enjoy it!

1 year after the events of Stone Ocean

Jolyne's p.o.v

I was inside the dressing room trying to put on my white dress, but it was difficult to tie the back. After failing to tie it myself, I hear Ermes from the other side of the door.

Ermes: Hey, you need help? You know you can ask me if you're having trouble, right?

Jolyne: No, I got it!

Ermes: Well, if you say so, fine.

I summon [Stone Free] and have her tie the back of my dress for me. When I still couldn't see what I was doing, I turned toward the mirror so I could at least see what the hell I was doing. Finally, I was able to tie it and click the end of it. I walk out of the dressing room to show Ermes and see what she thought.

Ermes: Mmph. Mmph. I think it looks good on you. What do you think?

I go into the area with multiple mirrors and take another look before second guessing myself.

Jolyne: It's nice... but kinda hard to move around. It feels like it's stretching my arms out.

Ermes: Well, no one said weddings would be easy or comfortable. Besides, if all goes well, you only have to wear it one for one day.

Jolyne: Well... I guess you're right. Then I'll take it!

After changing back into my normal clothes, I take the dress to the cashier and pay for it. The cashier thanks us, and we get in the car, with a few other bags already inside it. As I turn the car on, I notice Ermes staring at me.

Jolyne: What're you looking at?

Ermes: Oh, nothing. I just thought how crazy this all is. A year ago, we barely knew each other when we entered prison together, and now look at us: shopping for supplies to help out with you and Anasui's wedding.

I stopped to think about it, and she was right about how much happened in between. After we entered prison together, my father found out that I was set up by Pucci in some elaborate scheme to take his memories and use them to his advantage. Along the way, I learned how to control my stand, met a few friends, and made plenty of enemies until I finally gave back my dad his memories and escaped from jail. We had a few more scenarios to get through before Pucci ascended and started going insane with his abilities. I'll admit, it was kinda scary not knowing what was going to happen next, but thanks to my friends and my father's stand, we were able to defeat Pucci and bring everything back to normal.

From there, Ermes, Anasui, and I went back to prison until my dad got the SpeedWagon foundation to go to court and bail us out. After we were free, Emporio asked if he could come with us and Anasui asked me if I would marry him. I said yes to both of those questions, and ever since, we've been making preparations for the wedding day while Emporio tagged along and became closer to us as a great friend. So much has happened in a little over a year and it isn't until I stop and think about it that I realize how crazy it's all been.

Jolyne: Now that I think about it, it's really an eye opener. One day, we're fighting for our lives, the next, we're shopping like there's no tomorrow.

Ermes: Yeah... I wish FF or Weather Report could've seen this.

Her expression changed and became a bit depressing. I put my hand on her shoulder and smiled at her.
