Chapter 7

It was now Monday which meant the first day of school. Michael and Ebony had arranged to walk together to school so they could spend I little time alone catching up, as they hadn't seen each other since before Michaels holiday.

"Come on guys your going to be late for school!" Steven shouted up the stairs to Ebony and Matt.

"Coming dad!" Ebony replied, slipping on her shoes and grabbing her bag.

The door bell went off just as she started walking down stairs, so she said good bye to her dad and raced out the door.

"Mikey!" She squealed, giving him a bone crushing hug, which he reciprocated.

"Hey kitten, I missed you!" Michael laughed, and Ebony smiled at the nickname he gave her.

"Missed you more!"

"I don't think that's possible" he joked, pulling out of the hug and taking her hand.

"So how was your trip?"

"Yeah it was great! The food was amazing at the hotel"

"Trust you to comment on the food!" Ebony giggled.

"So how was your school break?"

"Pretty standard to be honest, I didn't really do anything exciting"

"You must have done something!"

"I met up with Bella, Mari and the guys but other than that, not really" she laughed.

Ebony hadn't realised just how much she missed Michael until she saw him standing there. They were becoming quite close, quite quickly and she really enjoyed his company.

"Michael! Ebony!" They heard some people shout as they neared the school, and when they turned their heads they were engulfed into a massive group hug by Bella, Mari, Luke, Ashton and Calum.

"How was the trip? Haven't seen you all holiday man!" Calum said, pulling him in for their own hug.

"Yeah, it was great! How was yours?" Michael asked, causing the group to smirk and Calum to go bright red.

"What?" Michael asked confused.

"Let's just say, Cal may not be a single pringle for long" Ashton teased.

"What, you met someone?!" Michael exclaimed.

"Maybe" Calum smirked.

"Get in there! Who is she then?"

"Her names Delaney, she's from America" Luke smirked.

"Oooo nice, you'll have to ask her to visit!" Michael insisted.

"Oh he already has" Bella piped up, causing Michael to wolf whistle.

"I don't know if she is coming yet, she hasn't said yet" Calum explained, going red.

"Well fingers crossed" Michael winked, and they all headed into school.

"So, you and Michael looked cozy" Bella teased Ebony, as they, plus Mari walked to the lesson they had together.

"Well, until we interrupted them with our group hug" Mari added.

"Just friends!" Ebony reminded them, teasingly.

"Right..." Mari laughed, causing her and Bella to giggle.

Meanwhile, the boys, minus Ashton, had a free period and were messing around in the study area.

"It's so obvious you like her mate" Luke said to Michael.

"We are just friends" he said, repeating the words him and Ebony have said about a thousand times.
