Kenhina- discovering our feelings

✨chapter one✨

*kenma's POV*

"KENMA!!" A familiar voice ran out across the courtyard,
I turned in time to see a bouncy ball of sunshine right before it crashed into me, time seemed to be in slow-mo as I faltered but I managed to catch my step and grab onto the creature pressed against me.

It was after a few seconds of silence had passed in both the arriving team getting off the coach and my own, that my eyes searched for kuroo, when we locked eyes he pointedly stared at the positioning of my hands and it took me a moment to realise I had grabbed on to shoyo's ass.
Another second passed after our silent communication as I processed the situation, my hands flew up and pressed firmly against his back and I could feel my cheeks flaming up and my stomach knotting in a dreaded way as my anxiety starts to note all the attention upon me.
"Sorry" I mutter fiercely, choking back tears as I scream to the earth in my head to swallow me whole.
Shoyo leaned back with his cheeks flushed rosy pink and giggled "no no it's a miracle you didn't fall I'm sorry for jumping onto you, I just missed you so much!"
The teams relax, and I see suga and daichi behind shoyo sharing a knowing look, and just know that my team behind me is doing the same.
I look back down to look at shoyo and realised he had slid down but my firm hand had not moved so he was pressed against me staring up at me with eyes widened in a curious way.
I quickly release him with another muttered apology and turn my gaze to glare at a snickering kuroo who was now standing next to his crush from the karasuno team, shoyo's team, he tried to put all the excitement on me but I just know that we were both equally excited for this training camp.

Shoyo demands my attention again by tugging at my shirt and I look down at him 'cute' I flush again as I realise what I just thought 'what? Why did I think that??'
"Kenmaaa~" Shoyo pouted,
"Yeah?" I reply, trying my hardest to ignore the war inside my head.
Everything around us had finally began to move around again as the teams caught up with each other, I could hear kuroo and bokuto yelling and making bad jokes a few meters away, and I relaxed a little.
"Let's go explore!!" Shoyo jumped up and down with excitement in his eyes,
"Sure ok"
He let out an excited Yelp and skipped towards the entrance and I didn't have the heart to remind him I'd been here before, though I never really explored being too busy with my games at night and training during the day, I followed after him feeling someone glaring daggers into the back of my head but being too tired to check who.
