Henry Harris vs The Madman

Prologue

16 years ago, Henry's mum (Julia) 22 years old, was at a pub at 12 am and a man, who was absolutely drunk, came up and asked, 

"Do you want to go out with me?"

He was quite short, slim, pale with short hair and had a visible scar next to his lips.

"No, sorry I already have a boyfriend,"

Julia said. The man's face went red and dropped his glass of wine. He went towards the table, picked it up and threw it, then Julia picked up her jacket, despite being drunk she ran. All of a sudden, the man threw a chair at her and nailed it right in the middle of her chest, the heart, Julia quickly clutched her chest to kill the pain but it didn't work so she passed out. The man was about to attack again when the doormen saw and took him down and detained him.

The other party goers were evacuated as the police and ambulance arrived. It took 4 officers to restrain the man and bring him away. The ambulance quickly got their equipment ready and started CPR and managed to get her alive and breathing again. They immediately put her on the stretcher and took her away.

2 hours later, Julia was just recovering from her operation, her mum, dad and brother waiting for her to wake. They were all really upset and relieved at the same time because Julia managed to come back alive. A minute later, Julia opened her eyes and saw the nurse checking her up. The family quickly came into the room and hugged her.

16 years later (1)

Henry Harris, who had a black belt in karate and Samantha (Sam) Harris, who is 18 months old, lived in Folkestone, England with their mum and dad. They were going on a road trip to Barcelona, Spain during the summer holidays. They were putting their luggage into the car. Henry was excited for the holiday, but not for the journey to Barcelona. It takes 14 hours to get there. Few hours later, they all got into the car and got ready for the long drive ahead.

As they arrived in France, dad (Harry) decided that they should stay for a night in Paris. 3 hours later, they arrived at a hotel in Paris, checked in and dumped themselves on the bed and dozed off.

12 hours later, they got back in the car and continued their journey. Dad said that the rest of the journey will take the whole day because they would have to fill up with petrol and stop for some food.

5 hours later, they arrived at the Spanish border with France they were just about to go through the toll booth when they saw a familiar looking man and mum straightaway knew who it was. So she quickly told dad to give the money and drive away.

None of them were expecting to see him...

20 miles of speed madness later, they took the next exit for food and a sigh of relief. They all went to the toilet and then ordered some food from a fast-food. Mum and dad ordered a cheeseburger for Henry and a hamburger each for themselves. After they got their food, they sat down at a table next to the window.

5 mins later, they suddenly saw the same man working at the border getting out of his car, he was the one who asked mum out and threw the chair at her 16 years ago. Dad quickly told them his plan. He said to go through the back entrance/exit and go round the edge of the car park. They quickly finished their food and speed walked through the back entrance and walked towards the edge of the car park, but the only problem was that the ground was filled with plastic.

"Ugh!" Henry exclaimed,

"We have no choice, Henry," dad said.

They squelched, as quick as they could, through the 1 foot tall pile of plastic. Luckily, they parked near to the edge of the car park. As they got closer to the car, they carefully crossed the road. Suddenly, Sam started to cry really loudly, the exact moment that man exited the building. Now the family started to run, but the man had spotted them and started to run towards, unfortunately, he kept himself fit and so he was really quick and managed to stop them in their path.
