Again, the sound of tires screeching, followed by a loud crash, then the sound of glass shattering.

It never ends, even in her dreams. Laira was helpless as she

twisted and turned on the hospital bed.

'No.' she moaned. But thats all she could do. Bit by bit the pain of the memories grew within her.

The door of the room opened and a women with a nurses uniform and holding a tray, walked in. She immediately rushed towards the 17 year old girl, about to fall of the bed as she violently shaking in her sleep.

' Miss, please wake up.' the nurse said while trying to hold Laira and stop her from moving.

'No, help!' Laira screamed this time.

'Miss!' the nurse was now panicking. She reached out to a caller switch on the wall while still holding onto the patient.

Within a few minutes, a group of nurses rushed into the room. One of them wasted no time and injected a transparent liquid into the patients veins.

Silence.

It seemed like finally the girl's suffering had come to an end.

She was a surviver of a terrible accident which took the life of four people. Her mom, dad, brother and her grandmother.

She survived. But the incident had left a horrible scar in her mind and it had haunted her for the 3 months she had stayed in the hospital.

'Will she be able to come out of this when she is finally cured? Can she possibly live with it? ' the nurse who had first entered the room asked the doctor.

The doctor was a really pretty women in her late thirties. She held her coat and walked slowly through the corridors with the nurse by her side.

'She is a strong child. Really brave. I knew her when she was in middle school. Knew her parents as well. Such powerful people, not just financially but mentally as well. They survived through all their misfortune. And trust me, This is not the worst!'

Laira sat up on her bed on the first week of may. Within the three months she had heard about what had happened, heard about her family. It left her crying for a whole week, she refused to eat anything. The doctor however, was successful in helping her overcome the pain.

Thus after 2 months she was finally recovering.

'here, eat up!.' said the nurse with a pleasant smile.

She placed a tray containing a plate of sandwiches and a glass of orange juice.

Laira glanced at the food and her hazel eyes glistened with tears. She then looked around. The room seemed like a hotel room. With a tv in front, a sofa, a balcony, a lot of expensive looking vases adorned the corners.

Suddenly her mind was awake, like something hit her.

For the first time in three months she spoke.

'W-who saved me?' she asked the nurse.

The nurse replied with a smile while she busily withdrew the syringe stuck to laira's wrist.

'you will know soon.'
