20 feet away from the school, and the car stopped. Emily and David got out as Alex, Alexis, and Jackie started walking our way with Cameron.

It was just me and Dayven left in the car. I don't really know why he was still in there but I lost my pen so I was looking for it.

The asshole was driving too fast, and when he suddenly stopped the pencil between my fingers went flying out.

"Get out of the car." I heard a what familiar voice from the front.

Cameron.

"Ya- just a sec" Dayven seemed busy with his phone.

"What's up— the... new girl" his head in the car as his arms rested on the window part. He frowned as he seemed to go with his sentence without knowing where it was going.

The top of my head stung as my hand covered the spot I just bumped against the seat.

"Yo!" Dayven let out without really paying attention to anything in the reality he was in.

When I saw his attention was to Dayven again, I went back to looking for my pencil.

The green sparkle of it shinned through the dark between the seats, and that's where my hand went; trying to get it.

Cameron started talking to me, I got nervous and hit my head hard. Again.

"Fuck" my breath cussed quietly.

I promised myself I would remember that the seat was right above my head but if my head is up and my eyes are open that doesn't mean my braincells are.

I still don't know how to act in front of Cameron so I try to stay as quiet as I can.

He let out a chuckle. "You know, I still can't get you to talk to me fully" his voice was very comforting but could send you to the entire shivers mountain if that makes sense.

He was very comforting.

Dayven's eyes glanced at us as he noticed we were talking but he just went back to his phone.

"I'm pretty sure I should be calling you 'the new guy" I commented.

He tried not to laugh and then asked what I was doing.

"My pen- well pen-cil dropped and I can't seem to get it" My face was on fire.

"Here" he handed his hand out but something was in it. I reached just to find out it was a pencil.

"I just bought it yesterday but it's my gift for you-"
"Alright. Enough with gifts" Dayven interrupted getting out.

"Tha-" I paused for a second.

"Thank you" i genuinely meant it as I let a giggle of embarrassment out after I got out of the car.

He's like a person you don't wanna mess up in life, you know.

That person who's so kind and has a good feeling and your gut just tells you to not mess anything up with them because it just feels like your gonna ruin the best 'positive' part.
