AFTER THE HUNTRESS dropped off cora back at the loft she decided to drive home no longer in the mood for another class

however her plans of letting off some steam was interrupted when stiles jeep parked right next to her jeep getting her attention "what do you want stiles"

he walked around his jeep approaching her as she hopped out of her own "you have to come with me"

"why?"

"allison called me, s-she explained the next pattern she explained how it was guardians like law enforcement— i- i have to tell my dad... and i need your help to convince him" he explained

the huntress glanced at her house wondering if her dad was in there "why? what's wrong?" the human boy asked

she sighed "i have to get something first if you want us to convince your dad— and i sort of have something to tell you too..."

isabella entered her house with stiles following behind her quick "what do you have to tell me—"

his sentence stopped as he walked through the front door, his eyes wondering around the spacious home

to his knowledge it was only isabella and her father living here— it was the same as him and his dad but their house was definitely not as big as this, he once asked allison if she was getting paid as a hunter but the girl said it depends

maybe isabella's mom was working abroad somewhere? or maybe they were part of some sort of mafia back in mexico that's why they're so rich. It would make sense why they had so many weapons and maybe it wasn't just for hunting supernatural

"stiles! what are you doing? let's go" the huntress called as she waited by the stairs

the stilinski boy nodded following quick "you're house is really big" he said

"thanks" she answered shortly

they passed a room that looked like a library filled with books and picture frames of isabella and her dad

no mother though making him wonder more about her mom

his eyes then landed on a large frame with a mets jersey in it— he gaped at it stopping completely "woah! you like the mets?" he asked excitedly temporarily forgetting of their task at hand

"no, my dad does— can you please hurry we don't have much time before he gets back" she told him

stiles lingered a little more by the frame before being yanked away by the huntress.

They entered her father's study, she quickly approached his desk searching for what she needed as stiles stood awkwardly in the middle, his eyes scanning over the array of weaponry just laying around the room so casually

there were so many he was scared to take another step, fearing that a grenade might suddenly go off

when isabella found what she needed she handed the maps to stiles before going to one of the cabinets pulling it open

the human boy stood behind her, his eyes almost bulging out of it's sockets as he saw the huge guns and arrows and different kinds of daggers

the calavera girl pulled out one of the curved bows and a bundle of arrows stuffing it inside a duffle bag, she swung the bag over her shoulder before closing it— she faced the boy nodding "let's go"

"w-what do you need that for?" he asked

she breathe shrugging "won't hurt to be prepared"

"prepared for what?" he asked as they stepped out of her house again
