Russell paced in front of a large window, worrying his thumbnail.

Suddenly the flight was called.

He paced faster. The gate opened and people began leaving the terminal. He went to stand with a small sign reading Lisa C. by the door.

Finally a flight attendant walked out with a little girl.

His breath was taken away. She looked exactly like Laura at eleven. It was crazy.

The attendant saw his sign and walked up to him. "Are you looking for Lisa Cavanaugh?"

"Yes. I'm Dr. Fabray." Russell shook the man's hand.

He smiled. "Well Lisa, it was fun getting to know you."

Lisa said nothing, scowling at both men.

The attendant cleared his throat and hurried away, glad Lisa wasn't his problem anymore.

"Hi, Lisa." Russell flashed his most charming smile. "I'm your daddy."

"Why are you wearing a suit?" Attitude dripped from her words.

"First impressions matter?" His smile faltered.

She turned up her nose.

"Well come along. We must retrieve your bags."

She noticed he spoke strangely. She frowned as she kept pace with him. Why'd he been in America if he was foreign?

They stopped at the carousel. "Which are your bags?"

She pointed the two out.

"Ah! You pack like MarcAn." He approved.

She wanted to ask him who that was but didn't ultimately care.

He picked up the bags and led her out to the parking lot. They got in his rented SUV and put on their seatbelts, Mal's words running through his head.

He drove through to the city then to the country.

Lisa was majorly impressed and resented it. Italy was as beautiful as magazines claimed.

"The house is right up the road." Russell spoke suddenly, not able to take the quiet.

Lisa said nothing, staring out the window.

He stopped in front of the villa, bypassing paparazzi and security. He got out to help her out with her things.

They went up to the front doors and he knocked on the heavy wood.

Pendleton opened the door. "Welcome."

"Is everyone waiting?"

"Yes."

"Thank you."

Pendleton nodded before opening the door wider. "Ms. Cavanaugh."

Lisa was growing more and more intimidated.

They walked into the lobby and the family was standing there.

Russell blew out a breath. "Lisa, this is your family. Family, this is Lisa."

"Hello, Lisa." The Fabangeses monotoned.

Lisa saw all these different people and was just confused. They were his family? "Hi."

"This is my wife, Judy." Russell went down the line. "This is Marcus and Rose, Michael and Jeanette. This is MarcD and Laura and their children; Wenny, MarcP, Lu, LuLu and Mellie. This is Sonny, MercyCat and Lucy and their children; Beth, Mike-Mike, Val, Cai, No, Gabi, Sol, and Hank. This is Jr., MarcAn and their wife, Ellen and their children; Xin, Jr.'s Jr, Mickey, Rise, Raj, Rye, Chrissy, Calli, Chey, La, Ais, Tris, Saw and Lay. And this is Sugarfoot and her boyfriend, Steven and their son, SteJ."
