A few days went by. I was grabbing my books for the first two classes, when I heard yelling from the crazy girl.

"You're not just going to hit and quit it with me!" She yelled.

Oh my God, this girl has some serious issues. I didnt bother to look. I kept minding my business.

"Well, I just did. Later, Maria." I felt someone walk past me. I have to admit, the dude had a sexy voice.

"Its Megan!"

I laughed. I couldn't hold it anymore. She just glared at me and left.

I saw Derek talking to a guy and they were being extra friendly. Hot gay British guy here, is a magnet for girls and guys. Well girls who don't know that he's gay.

I saw Nina and Oliver being cheesy. And then there's me, alone watching everyone having a love life. I closed my locker and ended up falling along with someone else. The person got up and didn't bother to help me.

"The nicest thing to do is help me get up, asshole." I said while getting up.

"Nah, you can do it yourself." That was the same voice from a few minutes ago.

I looked up at him and realized who he was. You have got to be kidding me.

"You look familiar." He said as he was checking me out.

Of course I do, but with my luck, I texted the wrong person and he is an actual dick. I didn't realized I was agaisnt the lockers with him close.

"Now I remeber." He put each of his hands on the side of my head. "You're the girl who texted me. "Did you came all the way here to meet me?"

His face was just inches apart from mine. My breathing became heavy.

This guy was very tall and fit. His eyes were icy blue. Chiseled chin. I see why girls are crazy about him. But he's a player.

"Yeah, I flew all the way here for a jackass." I smiled.

"You have a big mouth for such a small person."

"So I've been told." I answered with a smirk.

He pulled away and smirked too. He looked at me one more time, and then left. Everyone was staring at me.

"What? Never seen two people talk in a very, very friendly way?" Everyone went back to their thing.

"What the hell was that?" Nina asked.

"I have no clue. All I know is that he is a player and an asshole." I chuckled as I shook my head and left.

"Anybody else saw the sexual tension between those two?" Oliver asked Nina and Dery.

"Yep." They answered in unison.

........

At lunch time, I grabbed my food and made my way to our table, but someone decided that it would be a great idea to make me fall. Food was all over me and laughs were echoing through the walls, except from my friends. I got up and saw who was the one who put their foot.

"Hope you enjoyed eating on the floor." Megan laughed.

I smiled. "I did, have some yourself. You're too skinny."

I grabbed someone else's food and shoved it in her mouth and after that, I poured some juice and soup on her hair. Laughs is what you could hear.

"These were new extensions!!" She screeched and then left the cafeteria.

I laughed and so did my friends.

"I'm not your typical girl who cries when bullies and bitches like Megan, attack me. No no, I get even. At my last school, I made sure the queen bee knew what it was like to mess with me. She now wears wig all the time." I smirked.

If they want to bother me fine, but the moment I get even, is when they cry. Everyone stopped laughing.

....

After classes were over, I went to the parking lot.

"Dude, that was insane. You are something else." Nina told me.

"My girl doesn't take shit." Dery told them.

"Megan had it coming. Awesome job." Oliver high five me.

"I wanted a calm Senior year, guess that's not happening." They all laughed.

......

We decided to go to the beach after school. I needed some fresh air. Derek invited his friend the one he was very cozy. And Oliver was with Nina playing in the sea. I was just sitting on a log  watching.

"That was a great show you put up at lunch." They told me.

I looked to my right and saw him. "Are you following me?"

"I happen to live in the big house you see over there." He pointed to a mansion at top of the hill. "I like to go for a run, you just happened to be here."

"Well, go run." I replied. He chuckled.

"I'm Derek by the way." He extended his hand.

"I know your name, and I'm sure you know mine. But, I'm Nika." We shook hands.

"Now, tell me why you dislike me?"

"Well, for starters, you're a player. I dislike guys who just have sex and then add the girls as one more of their list. Or use them as makeout buddies." I told him.

"Well, sometimes is best to be this way than being all mushy lovey dovey. Relationships are a waste of time." He replied.

"Okay, if you're this way, means you got hurt. You shouldn't give up on love. That girl just wasn't the one." I told him while looking at the sea.

"We'll see if you're right. Later, Hale." With that said, he made a run towards his house.

Uhm, was I actually having a decent talk with him? What a day.
