"Come on girls it's time to get on the road!" I yelled from down stairs.
"We'll be down in a second," my three best friends yelled back to me.
While I'm waiting I guess I should explain what's happening. My friends and I are going on a roadtrip around Australia. We all live in Sydney with our parents and we've never really been able to go anywhere else... until now. The girls and I have all just finished grade 12, so we're taking a years break to travel Australia before we start Uni.
"Maya!" Georgia yelled while running down the stairs. "What do you think of my outfit, is it too much" Georgia worried. She can be very dramatic, hense why she will be majoring in acting and dancing at University.
She was wearing a black bra top with a red checkered flannel and black ripped skinny jeans and a pair of white high top converses to top the outfit off. Her hair a chocolate brown colour and straightened so it went to about her belly button. She also had winged eyeliner and a bit of mascara to bring out her light blue eyes. It also make her look even more tan.
"You look gorgeous as usually" I replied.
"Are you sure? My stomach is showing and I think I look fat."
"Georgia! You are gorgeous. Also you are not fat you are skinny. And do not try to tell me or anyone otherwise. Okay?"
"Okay," Georgia smiled. as she walked back upstairs to get hair suitcase.
Georgia was always the girl who was self conscious no matter how many boys were after her or all the girls who wanted to be her. She was the tallest out of the four of us which made her look even skinnier.
I looked up as I heard clicking noises coming from the stairs to see the girls dragging their suitcases down the stairs. As I waited for them I looked to see what they where wearing.
Brooke was first down the stairs and she brown hair with blond sun kiss. Her hair was up in a perfect messy bun. She only had a minimal amount of mascara as it would contrast with her dark brown eyes it have too much eye makeup. She was wearing a black crip top, ripped denim shorts with the pockets hanging out the bottom and galaxy converses on. Brooke was also the type people wanted to be she was the second tallest in the group and she was very fit and tan as she did lots of sports like volleyball and track.
Next was Gabby her long brown hair was pulled up into an elegant high fashioned ponytail. She had smoky eye which brought out her bright blue eyes. Gabby was the shortest of the group, leaving me as the second shortest ... or third tallest, Gabby was also the most pale in the group especially as the rest of us where very tan. She was wearing another one of her band shirts which was tucked into an elegant black skirt and black high tip converses.
I had my medium length brown hair straightened. I only had on a little bit of mascara to bring out my light brown eyes. I had a loose black and white stripey dress with shirt black leather sleeves on and white high top converses on to top it all off
You're probably thinking that we're way to dressed up for this. You would be absolutely correct, but that's just how we are we dress to impress even if we are only going on a road trip.
The girls and I dragged our bags outside and put them in a bus/caravan kinda thing... it was big but small. When you first walk in the door of the bus on your left is the drivers and passenger seat, on the right there was a little lounge room with a large black leather sofa and quite a large flat screen television on the wall. If you walk past that there is a little kitchen on the right with a stove, a fridge and cabinets. On the left was an L shaped seat screwed to the wall and the other but with the back facing the lounge room, and a table. Past that was too big bits of wood that you can see on the sides and a black curtain in the middle. if you open the curtain there are two bunk beds on either side. At the end of the little hallway was two doors the one on the right opened up to a toilet and a sink and the left door had a shower, sink, cupboards, a large mirror above the wall and a towel rack. (the wide ones with another one diagonally in front of it.)
"I bags top bunk!" Brooke yelled while opening up the little curtain to the top bed on the right and jumping on to the mattress.
" That's fine with me, I prefer bottom bunk." Gabby shrugged while getting into the bunk below Brooke's.
"I call top bunk!" Georgia and I yelled at the same time.
"Dammit, you know what this means..." Georgia said.
"Dance battle!!!" We all screamed while laughing.
I started doing some random robot moves, while Georgia being a dancer started doing some hip hop / ballet stuff.
"Hmmm... I declare Georgia the winner!" Gabby yelled while Georgia celebrated and highfived Gabby and Brooke.
I just laughed at our randomness as I started to make my way towards the front of the bus as I had the first driving shift. The girls started to make there wat towards me.
I looked back at them and smiled while they were all mimicking my crazy dance moves "Here's to the beginning of our roadtrip!"
