chapter 1: ana's story.

ana was viewed as a regular normal girl. she was smiley, always exercising, and super nice. but ana was very skinny. in fact, she was so skinny, she got bullied for it. she only had a few friends, and was smart in school. but ana was anorexic. she would starve herself to be skinny. she was convinced that she was fat, so she starved herself to become skinny.

one day, ana met a boy named rex. ana and rex started talking, and found out that they have a lot in common. after a few months, they both shared to each other that they were anorexic. when discovered, they promised to always be there for the other. the two eventually started to date, and were very happy.

ana always wanted to impress people. she thought that rex would like her better if she was skinnier. she was a sophomore in high school, and only weighed 100 pounds. she was convinced she was fat, and started to starve herself even more.

by the end of the month, ana was hospitalized. she had starved herself so much, she had to have food immediately pumped in her stomach. when rex heard the news of ana in the hospital, he was devastated. the love of his life was hospitalized trying to impress him.

at 1:03 am the next morning, ana was pronounced dead at lakeshore hospital. rex was extremely upset, because he thought she was doing fine. he was convinced that she was trying to get better. rex was in charge of organizing the funeral.

on july 21, the funeral was held. as rex watched the love of his life be lowered into the ground, he noticed how pale her skin was, and how lifeless her flowing brown hair was, and how he would never see her gray eyes sparkle again. a normally slim white dress hung loosely from her shoulders, and her arms were bony from lack of fat. he realized, that he shall never see ana again.

after ana's death, rex vowed on getting better. he used ana as a learning experience, to strive to become healthy again. as rex was in his junior year of high school, by the time he was a sophomore in college he was already doing better. he was heathy, eating again, and talking to other people about their insecurities. he had decided to take a major in psychology, to further explore insecurities and depression.

by the age of 23, rex owned, 'ana and rex's psychology center'.

although rex never married, he still adopted a wonderful little girl, with brown flowing hair, and bright gray eyes, and a pale milky white skin.
