I drove home and just thought to myself i really messed things up between us why did i say those things I hate my life i hate my family i hate everything except for annie of course I got home and went straight to my room I changed and tried to go to sleep but i just couldn't I couldn't process that Annie wasn't mine and it's my fault I got up and went to my parents room I stood at the door
Hayden's dad: What's up son? Hayden's mom: what's up? really? are you a slob?
My dad walked over to me he pulled me out of his room
Hayden's dad: Sorry son, what's up? H: i have to uh.. *takes a deep breath* i have to come clean about something... Hayden's dad: okay go ahead H: well.. you know the girl that came over today?.. Hayden's dad: the fan? H: yes- well no. she's my girlfriend- well she was and she wasn't lying about it to get into the house or close to me.... she didn't want a picture either.. Hayden's Dad: i could tell she meant something to you by the way you looked at her, why'd you lie? H: Because of mom, you know how she is.... Hayden's dad: Yeah, i guess your right but i'm not your mom.. you can talk to me when you need to because i'm not going to do the things she would, i'll be happy for you and support you no matter what H: are you sure? Hayden's dad: Yes son, i may be busy all the time but you can still talk to me H: i thought you were like her because you guys are always together, i thought she rubbed off on you Hayden's dad: I would never become like your mother no matter what, and you can have your girlfriend over anytime you'd like but i need to fully meet her first H: well she's really pissed because of what i said at dinner so she's coming over tomorrow morning. you can meet her then Hayden's dad: sounds good, goodnight son
He walked back into his room and i walked into mine I smiled to myself My mom is the problem of this family it was never anyone else I got into my bed and i went to sleep
