Felix is Okay with Dying?

Angela POV

It's been almost 6 months since Zarek and Ava were born.

Probably the cutest thing ever is watching them laugh with each other and babble. Zarek has a habit of pulling on my hair, he thinks it's just so funny when I go ouch after he pulls my hair. James thinks Zarek's going to be a demon since he loves mischief. But I told him it's natural for babies to be mischievous. Ava is the quiet one. She only cries when Zarek does and we don't come right away. If we come within five minutes she will fall back asleep.

We are all still at Felix's, none of us knowing where else we can go. Willow said why don't we try to go the Vortex. Which isn't a bad idea, it would be a great place to raise the kids, being open to all the creatures and being able to be themselves. But I don't know about the location and don't necessarily know if it's safe. Willow will be going there to check everything out tomorrow. She said she would be back in the week, if she could stay away from her niece and nephew that long. She has declared herself as an aunt, I had no problem with it neither did James.

Felix, James and I are going to see Seth today. Willow will be staying with Zarek and Ava. I know Seth will want to meet the two but it's too dangerous right now. Strider is still looking for us. Felix says he's going insane and spoke about killing himself since he wasn't smart enough to out smart Felix. Demon doctors struggle accepting the fact that they can be outsmarted.

"Ready to go?" Felix asks as he enters our room.

Ava and Zarek stay in our room since there's no room for a nursery. Felix offered his room but it didn't feel right to me taking it. Even though Felix says he doesn't need it. Which is kinda true.

"Yea I guess." I say.

Zarek and Ava both sit in their cribs facing me. Their cribs are parallel to each other, the tops pressed against the wall. Zarek is teething on his bear and Ava is cuddling her bunny. The bunny that used to be mine. I smile at the memory.

"This is our first time leaving them." James says.

"I'll take care of them." Willow smiles.

"Let's give them alone time....to say goodbye it's hard...for parents to leave." Felix says pulling Willow out.

Once they leave James and I look to the door and sigh.

Zarek looks at me and raises his arms up signaling he wants held. I reach down and pick him up.

"Oh my baby boy." I kiss his forehead.

I look over at Ava and she turns to James motioning she wants picked up. Zarek is a mommy's boy and Ava is a daddy's girl so far. I'm happy though, James was worried both would hate him. He lifts up Ava and she cuddles him and babbles.

"I don't want to leave." He says kissing her forehead.

"I don't either, but I miss Seth."

"So do I."

James walks over to me and hugs me. Ava and Zarek look at each other then hug each other. James and I laugh and we do a little group hug. Zarek hugs James and Ava hugs me.

We both put them in their cribs and Ava motions that she want picked up again.

"I love you baby, but we have to go."

We both kiss her head and we walk to the door. She starts to cry loud and Zarek reaches toward her.

James walks back over and picks Zarek up and puts him in Ava's crib.
