STILES AND ISABELLA sat beside each other silently in the hospital not really sure what to do after sending derek away to go get cora before the cops could arrive— stiles' father was still missing and not only that but melissa was taken as well
scott decided to join deucalion's pack thinking it was their only choice left, they weren't sure if jennifer ever did heal cora and to top it all of isabella's stomach was still hurting due to the fanstastic stab wound the evil english teacher gave her
"oh just perfect" the human boy sighed
isabella looked up at the boy then to the man standing in front of them furrowing her brows "a stilinski at the center of this whole mess, what a shocker"
just after hearing his voice and tone the huntress immediately knew she would not like this man
"think you can answer some questions without the usual level of sarcasm?" the fbi agent asked stiles
the teenage boy shrugged "if you can ask the questions without the usual level of stupid"
isabella chuckled pressing her lips together making the man glance at her before looking back at stiles "where's your dad and why has no one been able to contact him?"
"i don't know i haven't seen him in hours" stiles lied right through his teeth
"is he drinking again?" the man asked
the calavera girl's head whipped up at the man glaring at him, she doesn't even know him and yet she already hates him "what do you mean again? he never had to stop" stiles spoke
"but he did have to slow down, is he drinking like he used to?"
isabella clicked her tongue "i'm sorry how is any of that related to whatever you're doing here? what are you doing here anyway?" she said sitting upward
"i'm the fbi, sweetheart—"
"ohh call me sweetheart again i dare you" she glared
stiles put a comforting hand on the huntress' shoulder before facing the arrogant son of a bitch again "okay what about this? next time i see him i'll give him a field sobriety test okay? we'll do the alphabet start with F, end with U" he smiled sarcastically
The man rolled his eyes, done with the teenage boy's sarcasm "How about the two of you just tell me what the hell happened here?"
"we don't know what happened here, okay? we were stuck in the elevators the whole time" isabella told the man
the fbi stared at them "you're not the one who put the name on the doors, are you?"
stiles and isabella glanced at each other before looking up at the man
"Calavera"

"The word is 'gurdian' bella and lately i think we both know that's a role i haven't exactly lived up to" miguel calavera said to his daughter as her and stiles followed the man inside his study
"but she took scott's mother and stiles' dad, that is not a coincidence" she told him
stiles looked at the two before hesitantly talking to isabella's father "you should also consider the fact that someone put your name up in large block letters on the elevator doors— that kind of felt like a warning to me"
"i think it might be morrell, she knows a lot more than she lets on and she might be trying to help us" isabella spoke
the human boy glanced at her sighing "well she needs to get on that a lot faster, okay? seeing as that the lunar eclipse is less than two freaking nights away"
