prompt: Married life with Kids
request by: yoongsdubuat the start of their married life, they have expected things to be as easier as it seems. it's like living with your best friend for life after tying to vow together, and they are the happiest.
it's waking up every single day together, seeing their morning faces and basking in each other's glow. they've enjoyed every inch of their married life without worries, as if they own the world. they've traveled relentlessly, filled their galleries with their pictures together, and such.
but then, having a married life can also mean having kids or not.
but they chose to have one- ah, or two.
"i already told you, no candies before breakfast."
seokjin was awaken by a loud crying in the living room, making him jolt from the bed, tying the string in his pants as he rushes down from the bed room down the ground floor, finding out that his wife was asking their daughter to spit the candy that she was eating behind her back.
"yejin, spit it out now." byulyi was squatting in front of her, lending her hand down her daughter's mouth.
he chuckled at the view, grabbing the attention of the two females in the house as he whispers. "what's getting you two worked up so early?"
then yejin cried louder as soon as she saw her father that made byulyi grunt when yejin rushes forward to run on his arms. "ah, yejinnie!" byulyi retorted. "what's wrong?" jin asks her, rubbing the back of her daughter while she cries in his arms, making him carry his two and a half year old daughter as he walks into the kitchen.
"she sneaked a candy while i was cooking pancakes for her and yullie, you know she's not allowed for candies for a while because of her delicate tooth inside." byulyi snorted, murmuring. "please help me out, jin-appa."
chuckling, seokjin looks at yejin, whispering. "you did that?"
yejin kept her mouth shut, covering her mouth knowing that her father is going to take it out on her mouth as well. "yejin..." seokjin warned her, as byulyi turned the stove off, whispering. "baby, you're going to ruin your teeth." she points on her mouth, as seokjin fakely gasps after thinking of a way out, wiggling her in his arms.
"oh no, what if your front tooth gets decayed?" his eyes were wide, making yejin gasp as well and look at her parents with her adorable wide eyes that she had inherited from her parents.
"ottoke, yejinnie's going to get an ugly smile if her teeth gets ruined." byulyi whined dramatically, as seokjin clicks his tongue, whispering. "yejin's going to grow up with no teeth!?"
soon after seeing her parent's dramatic acting, which is quite convincing for her age... yejin cries out loud, wailing her tiny arms as she opens her mouth, yelling. "shiro, shiro!"
chuckling at their daughter's action, seokjin then points at her teeth. "oh no, it's all black!"
yejin gasps, before sobbing.
"andwaeeee." she cried, making the couple laugh. byulyi lends her hand out, whispering. "the tooth fairy told me that if you spit the candy out, she'll make your teeth better.." she squishes her cheeks with her hand, making her daughter stop from crying while looking at them with her curled lips.
"she did?"
"mm, she also told us that if you are going to not eat candies for a while, you'll receive a big gift." jin babbled softly, hearing her sniff. "o... kay..." she incoherently speaks, reluctantly spitting the orange candy in her mom's palm after looking at them, wiping her tears and snot with her small limb.
