Madam Pomfrey woke me up this morning with some just fantastic news. She said I will have to wear a small neck brace and an arm wrap. Another thing for Malfoy to taunt me about.
"Normally, you would be healed within a few hours, but because of how you landed, healing will take longer." Said Pomfrey.
I rolled my eyes. "How long do I have to keep these on?"
"A few days I'd assume. Possibly shorter, possibly longer."
"Great, so can I get out of here now??"
"I am allowed to release you at lunch time, But you'll have to come back after. For now, rest up."
The old, rusty clock at the top of the entrance read 11:30, which means I could leave in half an hour. I was not at all looking forward to seeing Malfoy at all. A part of me hated him, but a part of me couldn't let go of the fact that I was practically in love with him. Not anymore of course. You can't love someone who would do such a thing, I think.
"You know Aeria, you should be grateful." Madam Pomfrey said
"Why is that?" I said. Is she deranged? I was knocked off my broom from who knows how high up. But I should be grateful for that?
"You would have landed way harder if it wasn't for a certain teacher." She said. "Now you should go wash up before lunch."
"What? Who?" I said.
Madam Pomfrey smirked, but didn't answer my question. The only teacher who was at tryouts was Snape? Weird, but she was right, I need to go wash off. I have dirt stains on my knees. I feel disgusting
I walked to the bathroom just outside the hospital wing to wash up. Bloody hell! Pomfrey didn't warn me about my black eye! It looks like someone took a marker and drew all over the right side of my face! I looked terrifying! How was I supposed to go back to normal looking like this!

I walked, well limped into the great hall. I wasn't even hungry, I just had to do something.
Malfoy was sitting there having a grand old time with his friends, like nothing happened. I could feel the anger fill my body again. I went over to him and stood with my arms crossed. He looked back at me and his face went pale.
" You know Malfoy, you're pretty cocky for someone who only makes the team because of his father!" I scowled at him. "Some of us work our asses off , especially me! And you screwed it up."
Malfoy looked up at me in the most frightened, embarrassed, and sorrowful way imaginable. I have never seen someone's smile go away so fast.
"But Malfoy gets what Malfoy wants, right?!" My eyes filled with tears as I pointed to my injuries.
"YOU SEE THIS?? I hope you're happy!!" Malfoy was speechless.
As I stormed off to my table I could feel his eyes on me. I had the attention of the entire hall. Everyone was absolutely silent, not even any Slytherins were cackling as usual.
"Aeria," Seamus said with a concerned look in his eyes. I couldn't control my emotions anymore.
Seamus stood up as fast as lightning and wrapped his arm around me as we walked out. The second we got outside, I flung my arms around him and pulled him into a tight hug. At this point I was sobbing, mascara smearing down my cheeks type of sobbing. He stopped hugging me and grabbed my shoulders.
"Aeria, It's going to be okay." He put his thumb on my cheek and wiped away my tears.
"C'mon, i'll walk you to the dormitories. We can grab your stuff then head back to the hospital wing "
